KFC — Restaurant in McAlester

We ordered 2 of the $5.00 fill up boxes. They had no grilled chicken at all, fine, give us original. We looked around and the tables and floors were filthy but I had been driving for 8 hrs so I just wanted to sit and eat. We found a table that wasn't quite as dirty as the rest. We filled our sodas, the fountain area was a sticky, disgusting mess. Boyfriend sat down. She then informed me they had no thighs. Fine, give him 2 legs and I'll take the popcorn chicken. I stand and wait while she is apologizing to me and notice all kinds of chicken and other crap on the floor behind the counter. I Sat down and pulled our food out. There was a film on the gravy and it was thick and dark. The potatoes were so hot, I burned my mouth. They obviously had been sitting in the warmer since morning ( this was at 230 pm). The popcorn chicken had also been in the warmer for some time. I decided 2 fill out their survey and my boyfriend went up to talk to the manager. He asked him if he would come and look and if he would eat in such filth. He told him he was too busy and that they were doing the best they could. Jay asked if he could at least clean a spot so we could eat. He said they were too busy (there was only one couple waiting for their food). I told him we had been sitting there for 20 mins and not once had anyone come out and cleaned anything. He then told us to leave. Jay said he just wanted a clean place to sit. He then said he was calling the police if we did not leave. I walked out. Jay continued to ask him if he would eat in such filth. A cook then came out of the kitchen and threatened him. NEVER have we been treated with such hostitily. We eat at kfc all over the country and have never had such an experience. NEVER AGAIN!! I have never seen such...

Very disappointed in the customer service we received. We pull in the drive thru about 5:30. My husband asked the young lady if they had grilled chicken tenders. Her response was "is that all you want"? My husband said yes just tenders..she said ok that will be $16.xx. My husband said "How many is that for"? She said "Well how many did you order"? (She never asked us how many, and we never gave her a quantity) My husband responded that we only needed 2 or 3 (they were for our dogs). After a few minutes she rudely shouted through the intercom "that'll be 5.98". We got up to the register, paid for the grill tenders and got back on the highway. I opened the box to to get the chicken out and it was fried breaded chicken tenders. The chicken was incredibly disappointing—dry, flavorless, and clearly left sitting under a heat lamp for far too long. It’s nothing like the fresh, golden chicken I’ve had at KFC in Australia, where it’s perfectly cooked, juicy, and slides right off the bone. That’s the standard I expected, but unfortunately, this location fell far short.

If you’re local, skip this place and try Charlie’s Chicken instead. Yes, they’re a bit more expensive, but their chicken is consistently fresh and well-prepared, making it worth every penny.
