I base a lot of our food experiences off of reviews, mostly on yelp and google. I decided to take our family here sometime at the start of this year. Since then, we've been here 3 times and each time has been a great experience. The experience has been consistent. The owners are friendly and talkative. The servers are attentive and nice. The place is cute, with its own little world inside. The vibe is relaxing, easy to catch up with your family or friends since you just feel so at home. The food is delicious!! You can tell they use real ingredients. Very authentic which I mean, who doesn't love. I just devoured there chilaquiles in 10 minutes because the sauce is to die for. It's not spicy, but very flavorful. The barbacoa is not greasy, very tasty. El café de olla reminds my mom of the good old day where she grew up in Mexico. If you're debating it, definitely...
Read moreI ordered the huevos rancheros and for $8.99 you get 2 eggs, refried beans, fried tortilla, potatoes and bacon.
The eggs were cooked perfectly over medium with a tasty crispy corn tortilla under them, the salsa was okay a bit bland , the refried beans were tasty, the potatoes were made fresh to order simple taste to them.
I tried their Huevos Rancheros on multiple occasions and they are sometimes hit and miss, sometimes they forget to add the corn tortilla under the eggs.
The flour tortillas are okay, they used to make them better, now they look raw. The restaurant looks really nice inside, the staff was very friendly.
Overall a cozy place...
Read moreSo i ordered from grubhub and it took an hr and 10 min to arrive from entering order. Its less than 3 miles from my house. The chilaquiles were soggy , no sauce and melted the styro plate. Disgusting. I called and the lady said manager not in but she would bring me another plate. New plate arrived after 30 min she apologized. The chilaquiles were less soggy but still soggy with little to no sauce , plate not melted this time. Will never order again from this place. Thank you for inspiring to cook something way better and go to grocery store...
