I am not entirely sure why this is listed as an herb shop. This location is actually a restuarant. And it serves some of the best tortas that i have ever had. To be honest, however, the tortas themselves are a bit pricey. That is the only downside to this place. Expect to pay around $9.50 for a torta de la casa, or the house special. If you are eating in, chips are included. Let me tell you about these chips... They are cut tortilla strips with refried beans and queso fresco. The chips themselves are well seasoned, but add a little(or alot) of the house salsa and these chips make up for the price of the tortas. I have also had the tacos but the tortas keep me going back. Sure, for the price you can have a burger from down the road, but why not try something authentically great? Read moreLove the food and the service is good. When I worked near the area, I frequented this restaurant on the regular. Every dish I had was excellent. Their “sason” is delectable. However, in all my visits, I never had the tortas. I was too busy having their enchiladas, Caldo tlalpeno, mole, taquitos, etc. I highly recommend this restaurant for authentic Mexican cuisine.
