Go For the Pizza, it's the star attraction, but close the stage curtain on the veggie hoagie and Chicken on the Parm calzones! Pizza >> We ♥ LOVE the behemoth size, and we would do a repeat performance on this, without a doubt! On a different order, we got a veggie hoagie and 2 calzones and they are what Broadway would term a 'Tragedy'. The veggie hoagie was not stacked, and kind of bland even with the balsamic house dressing, definitely not generous on the veggies! After all there is not much excitement when it comes to a veggie hoagie, but you definitely could stack it instead of this. (see photo) While the Chicken on the Parm calzones, offered a nice crust, the interior contents actually were dry, and the House Blend Cheese, Ricotta, and Magic Garlic Seasoning, lacked. Instead, a few chicken tenders with a meager amount of taste, definitely not a 'call back' item. We've definitely had better. Again, the Pizza is without a doubt their STAR item, and we will order encore performances of that, but not the Veggie Hoagie or The chicken on the Parm, as they are not the Broadway attractions we would snag front row seats for.

Tried three different pizzas. Every one of them was outstanding, some of the best I’ve ever had… And I’ve been around. The crust is evenly distributed, chewy, not too thick, and perfectly cooked. The sauce is spot on, with a punch of spice. The cheese blend includes Italian cheeses, which really make this pizza Outstanding. When you bite into it, the topping stay in place as they should instead of slide off the crust and slap you in the face. One slice was enough for lunch. The slices are huge like they should be. It’s exactly like street pizza in New York. I’ll be there At least once a week. I know everybody’s taste in pizza is different, but if you like traditional, New York style pizza, where you fold the crust, And the flavor just explodes in your mouth, this is your place! We were at wexford location, between 3 PM – 3:15 PM, on a Friday. Popped in again around 4pm on a Thursday. The Store had about 6 customers, they were short on slices, and staff didn’t really handle the customers very well. That was kind of disappointing to see. The pizza is still the bomb though!!!

Ahhhh! My beloved Slice has opened in Wexford!! Why so excited? Well it's only the best pizza in the tri-state area and NO that is NOT hyperbole. Chewy perfect crust, nice and thin with delicious fresh bread flavor... a sauce that tastes of basil and the very freshest sweet tomato, very high quality mozzarella blistered perfectly in their old school deck ovens. Literally the best pizza I've had in my life. The owner is a super cool guy too, he really cares about delivering a quality product. Last time I saw him he told me about how he toured tomato farms in California to source the best possible sauce tomato. Now that is commitment folks! Do not hesitate. Go get some of their thin NY style "big slice" pizza now. You will not be disappointed. As long as they hire good people to run the shop, I predict this place taking a major slice of the Wexford pizza economy under their belts (pun intended). Also try the garlic knots and their 3 famous rolls (pepperoni, steak, and meatball) To die for.

I have ordered multiple times since my first review below and each time has been worse than the last. 12/27/21 will be the last time I'll order from here, each pizza has gotten exceedingly sloppy and the toppings are scarce. I ordered 3 different pizzas, a veg, a pepperoni and a sausage mushroom, all three were disappointing. The veg was ridiculous, I bet there were 5 mushrooms on the whole pizza and it just got worse. What a shame but this is the 5th time the pizza has been awful. 😞

My name is Tammy and I am not a paid review. My office is located in Carnegie, on West Main Street, and just a few blocks down is Slice On Broadway. Many years ago our office tried the pizza there and WOW!!! So today while driving on Route 19 I noticed a sign saying "Slice On Broadway" and immediately called to find out if they were the same as the one in Carnegie, they were!!! Oh happy day!! I am picky about pizza and I have been living in the north hills for 15 years now and still do not have a favorite pizza place, I was raised in Bethel Park, so Mineo's is the standard. So tonight I ordered two pizzas and a Italian hoagie classic. The pizza was exactly like it was in Carnegie, so Perfect!! The Italian hoagie was excellent, although I will get the dressing on the side, just because I don't like the normal amount of dressing. The pizza crust is perfect, light and crusty. The sauce is tasty, not too sweet or salty. The only thing I thought could be improved is the amount of veg they put on the pizza. I ordered NY style thin crust with mushrooms, ricotta, red onion and banana peppers, the amount of banana peppers was perfect for me, but the mushrooms, ricotta and red onions were a little sparse, but nothing that can't be fixed with a suggestion! The quality of the veg, pepperoni, and sausage was excellent. I am so happy that FINALLY the north hills has an exceptional pizza place!! Now the only problem I have is that with them being 5 minutes from work and 10 minutes from home, I may gain 10 pounds or more, time for more exercise!! If you have never tried them you totally should, well at least I think so, as does my entire office. I did notice that the slices were not very uniform but who cares it doesn't...

Last night I ordered food. It said 50-55 minutes it would be ready. I sent my wife to go grab it. She said when pulling into the lot it was packed….. well for those that don’t know these guys ( maybe not them exactly but the business) has just won best cheese pizza award… So she never expected to walk in and see wall to wall filled people inside of here. There was a lot of confusion she said however the staff although definitely overwhelmed stayed focused and kept their cool still be extremely respectful to customers. My wife added there was so many people asking for a refund which the man behind the counter gave no questions asked. All I have to say is this to all those angry customers… think about how many pizzas an oven can hold now think of all the people ordering online, in stores, door dash, and over the phone. If you are walking in and there are 30 people infront of you ordering make that probably 60 for the other orders coming through. Pizza doesn’t magically cook it will take 15-18 minutes per pizza you are going to be waiting…. Don’t get mad at the staff for trying and doing their best. Thank you guys for your delicious food although a little under cooked pizza it was still amazing. And you guys will definitely get me back as a customer. I hope last night 4-4-25 didn’t make you guys defeated. You are all hard workers so thank you. And don’t let the entitled people...

Overall, they are worth a visit. Generally the food was good, though I had some things that left me dissatisfied. Let's talk about hoagies first. If you like soft Mancini's bread, you're not going to be happy with the bread here. It's harder bread almost like a baguette. The sandwich is smaller than what you'll typically find around Pittsburgh. It's really more of a french sandwich than a hoagie. You may like it better than what is typical. Just know that it's different. The box our pizza came in had sauce smeared on a corner. That just shows a lack of concern about running an orderly kitchen. I'm sure they must have plenty of towels they can use to at least wipe their hands off with. The pizza itself was cut poorly. We had some slices that were less than 2 inches at the crust while others were over 4 inches. So a monster slice next to a baby slice. It was very inconsistent. This doesn't effect the taste, but again, shows a lack of care. We will try them again. We just hope this is more about being a new location with inexperienced staff than anything else. We've seen this before with restraints that expand to new locations. Some fail from being disconnected from the founders vision. Others have become better than the original location. We hope to see...
