Mamma's Pizza & Restaurant — Restaurant in McConnellsburg

The food is honestly "fine". Service is atrocious for some reason they like to keep hot headed employees. Once or twice I can understand but it's something else each time.

Ordered in November for the last time. Placed and prepaid for a large order around noon ahead of time for a party. Friends came in to pick up the order around 6pm and got in an argument with whoever was working because the workers lost the record of my original payment. So we got charged twice for the same order.

Fine accidents happen ya know? Over the following two weeks I drove back into the store THREE times with bank statements proving they charged us twice. Finally the owner or manager said they'd fix it. Here I am four months later without an apology or refund.

Customer service is clearly lacking at the start of 2018. Dismissive. Poor timing. Complete lack of communication with the customer bordering on outright lying. I ended up hassling the cashier -- completely rude practice, don't do it -- to give me back my money after 40 minutes of waiting when there was only one other sitting customer in the building when my order was taken. When close to a dozen other customers enter and leave with their meals and I'm not graced with an apology, there can be no question of shoddy work. I've brought dates to this business, held work parties catered by this establishment. I can remark with authority that this was the worst experience I have known with Mamma's Pizza and Restaurant in Mcconnellsburg. Go to Lincoln. Go...

PIZZA and SUBS, are good. Just DON'T recomend ordering ANYTHING ITILIAN. Unless you like Ketchup and egg noodles. Last time we were in, dinning, the waitress was BEYOND RUDE. All she had to do, was bring it out to our table, instead she threw my sandwich across the table at me. We haven't been back since, and we have been customers for years. Honestly, the ONLY THING Italian about this place are the accents on the owners. Each time we TRIED a pasta dish, they were NOT good at all.
