Subway — Restaurant in McHenry

Not sure if there are new owners however on my visit yesterday had the gentleman taken his Bluetooth earpiece out of the mix and come to work maybe this location would not have lost a customer. Did he ask if I wanted my sandwich toasted / burnt . Nope he just stuck it in the toaster and I overlooked because I am easy going . Tossed the chips on the counter and stated the meal deal chips and a drink please. Rings me up and gives me a blank stare because he is too involved in his day trading or what ever he was taking about. I ask for my drink and he looks at me like I’m stupid and says you only paid for a sandwich and chips and wanted 3 more bucks . Who buys just a sandwich and chips at Subway ???? The store did not get my 3 bucks , the sandwich was burnt and nasty which is why on a BLT I only have the bacon cooked . Maybe leadership should tell that clown to hang up his dang phone and pay attention. My guess is the guys communication skills are a 5 with no phone call in the first place….. A Shame . Never had a bad experience here and have been going here...

Abby was rude!! I placed an order thru the app and when I got it there were ingredients I didn't order on it and ingredients I asked for that weren't on it. I tried calling 6 times and noone answered. Finally Abby answered and was a smart mouth to me. She told me that she highly doubts I called 6 times with noone answering. Then proceeded to tell me that I can just pick the ingredients off that I didnt want. I told her the taste of them is still there (and how does she know I'm not allergic to those ingredients). Whoever owns this Subway should never own a fast food restaurant again. We went there tonight to use the paper 3 for $17.99 coupon. While they take coupons, they only allow you to use this particular coupon on like ten sandwiches, which, most if not all, you can make at home for less money. Then after I stormed out, I hear from my mom that they basically tried to upsell us. What a crock! Until they change to better hands, we will not be back to this location.
