Lampert's Fine Meats & Deli — Restaurant in McKeesport

This morning I ordered breakfast at this establishment. The lady in the picture, I believe her name is Erica took my order. I checked my order and it was incorrect. The moment I mentioned it to the lady she got a huge attitude telling me it was my fault I received one piece of meat. I asked for a refund and she proceeded to tell me to get out of the store yelling." Get out now" "get out of the store". Next she makes a comment "I hate when "they " come in the store". I asked "who are you referencing as. "they", black people" She said yes you people always have an attitude. The older man who I believe is the owner walked over started saying get out before I will call the police. This place has served this community for years. I'm a 41 year old black woman and a mother of two a resident of Mckeesport my entire life. This incident took place around 8:30am. I just wanted breakfast before work. A simple mistake that could have been corrected easily turned into a disaster. I walked out thinking this is how they treat their customers. It was unnecessary, unprofessional, and ignorant. Shame on Lamperts and I would think twice before giving them any of my business let alone money. Has anyone ever experienced a negative experience at this establishment?

one suggestion to the people working is to try smoking your cigarettes in the back of the building instead of your customers watching you smoke and next...

We've been going here for many many years. The quality of the meat is outstanding, cut to order by skilled butchers. Their staff is always pleasant and helpful and knowledgeable. They make their own prepared foods, and fresh sausages and kielbasa which are second to none. Always delicious ,always fresh. They make incredible homemade sauerkraut in the fall. Each weekday they feature delicious meals with favorites such as City Chicken , stuffed peppers, ribs, meatloaf, chicken, pork chops, fabulous fish sandwich and so many more. Whether you stop in to pick up bread and milk, deli meats and cheese, fine steaks and ribs for a family bbq, or a delicious meal when you don't have time to cook, you will not be disappointed. This store has been a staple in my quest for good food and ethnic food since I was a child and they were located on Grandview Ave. The food is always fresh and they have, difficult items to find, to make some ethnic dishes such as slab paprika bacon for an old fashioned Hungarian bacon fry. The staff is always friendly and they work in an efficient manner to handle many orders on certain days of the year. Their chicken salad, which has a spread like consistency is tasty and well seasoned. The meat is on the expensive side but it is well worth the price for...
