I ordered Chicken 65 and was disappointed to find that the portion was only half a bowl. Either charge half the price or increase the quantity to match the price. Additionally, the chicken was dry and seemed like it wasn't freshly prepared. It's frustrating to go home and realize the quantity is insufficient. Please ensure you serve quality food and adequate portions to satisfy your customers.
Update:
Dear Team GoliSoda, Thank you for your response. However, I would like to address a few points you mentioned.Firstly, my review was intended to provide constructive feedback based on my recent experience with a takeout order. While I appreciate that Chicken 65 is a popular dish and that you take pride in your food, my experience did not meet the expected standards.Specifically, the portion size of my takeout order was significantly smaller than what I have received when dining in. Additionally, the quality of the food was noticeably different; the chicken was dry and seemed not freshly prepared. It appears that takeout orders may not receive the same level of attention as dine-in orders, which could be an area for improvement.I understand that feedback is crucial for maintaining high standards, and I hope that both dine-in and takeout customer experiences are valued equally. It would be beneficial for your team to consider feedback from all customers, regardless of how they choose to enjoy your food.Furthermore, I believe it is important to value and respect all customer feedback, regardless of whether it is their first review or their hundredth. Every customer's opinion is valid and can provide valuable insights for improvement.Thank you for taking the time to read my feedback. I look forward to seeing improvements and hope to enjoy a better experience...

We visited on a Friday evening and it was crazy, in not a good way. People didn't know, what the line was for, where to order, where to pick up the food and MOST IMPORTANTLY WHERE TO SIT. They have tried to bring various dining features - Bar, Stage, Restaurant Seating, Self Seating, Self Order, Self Serve into one roof and it all felt cramped and loud.
We ordered the Paneer Tikka Sandwich and Chicken Frankie, because this is not something you see often in many restaurant menu. What a huge mistake!
The paneer in the sandwich was just cut cubes of paneer straight from a package with absolutely no seasoning, forget the Tikka masala with a whole lot of RAW small diced onions - absolutely unpleasant. The sandwich was cut into quarters, for plateing and all the ingredients just fell out, without enough cheese to hold it together. For such a restaurant, they had like 1 residential use, single Panini maker, which was barely heating up...so the bread wasn't even properly toasted and didn't have the opportunity for the inside ingredients to warm through. Saw the person literally stand there holding the Panini press for several minutes to get a pale grill mark...and all three of our orders had to go through that Panini maker. It took forever.
The Frankie was some minced chicken in a flour tortilla. Sad. Just sad.
The fish pakora was well seasoned and good when served hot, later it was a little chewy. The staff is multiple tasking. No hair nets on the line chefs. No gloves on the serves. Never again. Not worth the...
Read moreDisappointing Experience at Goli Soda Indian Restaurant
I recently dined at Goli Soda with high expectations, but unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. Here are the main issues I encountered:
Mutton Biryani: I ordered the mutton biryani, and it was poorly cooked, filled with bones and lacking the flavor one would expect. When I brought this to the manager's attention, he insisted it was excellent and even packed the same biryani for takeout. I had the same disappointing experience with the packed food. At $20, this biryani is simply not worth the price.
Chocolate Pastry: The chocolate pastry was priced at an outrageous $8 each. When I inquired about the price, the manager initially claimed it was for the service, only to later admit that they raised the price for Thanksgiving. Honestly, this pastry is only worth about $3.50 at most. After some back-and-forth, he begrudgingly returned $5 to me.
Overpriced Dine-In Menu: Every item on the dine-in menu was overpriced, with a $2 surcharge for dining in. The management justified this by claiming it was due to an event they were hosting. It was amusing to hear that simply playing music and announcing an event warranted such inflated prices.
Avoid Apolo Fish and Gobi 65: Lastly, I must mention the apolo fish and gobi 65. Both dishes were among the worst I’ve ever tasted at an Indian restaurant.
Overall, my experience at Goli Soda was disappointing, and I cannot recommend this restaurant based on the quality of food and the pricing practices. Save your money and look elsewhere for a better...
