Me and my daughter decided to stop for some tea . As we ordered the lady taking our order informed me that they would not have any boba ready for another 20 minutes . We decided to ask for some recommendations and was told to sub for lychee instead . My daughter ordered the iced honey green tea with boba originally but subbed per recommendation for the lycee . When we got our drinks she wasn't a fan . I went back and asked if we could change the drink and the employee offered to drain the same drink . I asked if I could pay the difference for a fruit tea instead . I was told that it's against "policy" to take care of the customer and switch out the drink . The window associate then proceeded to take the drink and tell me it's not her fault my daughter doesn't like the drink, and was extremely sarcastic even rolled her eyes a few times . she stated that we would just need to pay for a new drink . I did ask for the manager who said her name was Tam , she repeated that she could only drain the drink after her associate also took the drink back . I was confused as the customer that I would need to basically pay for another $5 drink when they recommended it and we stated we would pay a difference for a new drink . I understand not wanting to be wasteful but why would we Be forced to keep a drink we didn't enjoy that was recommended . And after the straw and drink was open they would still want to swap out and have three people touch . #covid i love boba drinks and happy this one is near the house , but I would rather drive to boba off custer for the friendly service . I came to this shop on Saturday night around 8.30 PM. I ordered for a ginger milk tea. There was lady who served it. While ordering I asked how is it prepared initially as it was new addition to their menu and I never tested it before. So I took a chance and ordered this instead my regular coffee. The staff who took order never asked if I need sugar in it and I was expecting regular in it. Finally when I get my tea and took a sip of it it wasn't tea at all rather it felt like sugar syrup. Hence I came back and told them there are too sugar added in it. But the staff (lady) over there was too arrogant and was not even ready to accept her own mistake that she added too much sugar in it. According to her the sweet was regular but even for me as a sweet lover it was just un tolerable so I trashed it on the shop.But she was stick to her point rather accept it or ask for an apology. I used visit here quite often here to have my coffee and this was never happened before henceforth I am not gonna come here again and I would suggest people to think twice before...
