The biggest issue with this store is they seem to be more worried about keeping costs low in a really dysfunctional way, more than making sure they're producing a great product. I placed a mobile order of 2 footlong subs - one was a meatball sub with provolone, marina sauce added, green bell peppers added, and banana peppers added. I live right around the corner so picked up my food and took it immediately home. Once I got it home, I unwrapped the meatball sub to find a really skinny, poor looking sub and no hint of sauce on it, so I opened up the bread and sure enough it was nearly completely dry. I looked at the bag with the receipt still stuck to it and could plainly see that I indicated to add marina. So went back up to the store with my sandwich and asked for a new one with the sauce that I had requested because the sandwhich they gave me was nearly completely dry. That request turned into a conference between 2 employees, lots of conversation, lots of trying to decide what to do....rather than just saying, "ok sorry, let me make a fresh one the way you want it." It's like they honestly didn't know what to do and had to have a meeting about it. When they finally decided to start making a new sandwich, they had to go to the walk in fridge and get a new container of meatballs and sauce. The employee asked me if I wanted my sub toasted. I said no. So she began making the sub and she put the cold meatballs and sauce on the bread, the cheese and peppers, and the seasonings and wrapped it up. I asked "are you not going to heat the meatballs?" She said, "that's why I asked if you wanted it toasted." I said, "I don't want it toasted...I want warm meatballs and sauce, not cold meatballs and sauce. That's different than toasting it." So she started to unwrap my sandwich and got a little container to heat the meatballs and started to disassemble the meatballs to heat them up seperately. I said, "This is way too complicated, just put the sub under the toaster for 10 seconds and try to warm it that way." So she did. It didn't really heat the meatballs through, but atleast it wasn't completely cold and I didn't have to deal with them unassembling, heating, and reassembling a sub that was already looking mangled to death from so much back and forth. So long story short, just make it right the first time if you're so keen on saving money. Instead of trying to skimp on ingredients, give customers what they actually request on their orders, and then you won't have to replace it and go through a 20 minute meeting on how to rectify an...
Read moreI really like Subway, have for my whole life. (I’m 39+). The fact that too many of people depend on customers tipping in order to make or almost make ends meet makes me sick, especially in the U.S.A. I have never chosen to work at a place where the customer is responsible for paying the employees. The whole concept is Wrong, for it’s the Boss or Owner of the restaurant or service establishment Job to actually pay the person what they are worth not undercut them and expect the customer to pick up the tab. And we let the employers get away with us and we look at down anybody that questions it which is wrong too. The employer should see the worth of their employee and pay them what they’re worth. This would be like when you get pulled over with by cop tipping the cop after he let you go because the city is not paying him enough it’s ridiculous employee should pay it employee so the customer doesn’t feel guilty about not being able to tip raises prices up if you have to. So when I noticed that a tip was automatically added to my receipt I wasn’t upset and that is the reason why I’m not gonna come back to this particular subway I’ll still go to Subway of course cause I love it so much just not this particular one or any other one that automatically adds a tip in. Because almost $20 1750 was my total almost $20 for one person to eat a meal that is ridiculous $20. I expect to see steak for $20 per person. Other than that I had a great experience at the SUBWAY® and if you don’t mind either pay attention before you pay or you don’t mind automatically tipping someone that might or might not deserve to make more then their boss thinks they are worth...
Read moreI tried to reach out to corporate to try to resolve but nothing was said or done so I’m posting this here. I ordered pickup for my kiddos and I since I was going to his school to eat. I didn’t have time to check the food before I left and I really wish I would have. Got to the school and started eating my sandwich when I immediately noticed that they didn’t put cheese like I ordered but did add onions which I did not order. I didn’t even think about complaining because it was small but definitely had already ruined the sandwich but I kept eating it and just picking out the onions. Thank goodness I decided to pick them out because when I opened the sandwich there was a literal hair in my food. Disgusted is an understatement. I wanted to pretend it was mine since I had already paid but I have blueish blonde hair so there’s no way. The ladies are always so rude and when tried to not give me my whole order when I showed her the receipt 4 times and finally I just showed her it a fifth time while reading it to her out loud and grabbed the stuff and walked out. Horrible experience all the way around. Recommend you find anywhere else to...
