I am so disappointed. We have been such fans of Taco Bell for many years, but the last couple of years have been having major issues. Today was one of the worst experiences so far. I ordered on the app and when trying to pay it said there was an error and to try again later. When I tried again to order I found two orders had gone through. I asked at the pick-up location before they made the two orders and they said there was nothing they could do to cancel the second order! There was no way on the app to cancel the order either. I understand the app is an issue with corporate and that must be frustrating for the employees (they said a customer had the same problem the day before and made a scene about it). However, that isn't where my problems ended. They made me feel like a terrible person for trying to ask for help on how to cancel the double order. Then I went to fill up my drink and all of the soda at the Pepsi machine as flat and I couldn't drink any of it! When I asked for help they treated me poorly again and said the issue happened the night before and it was a Pepsi problem, not their problem and didn't offer anything to help (and again they can't do any sort of refund when I ordered on the app). I am so sad that Taco Bell is having so many issues and the customer service seems to be lacking. We placed an online order, like we do anytime we come here, and went to go pick it up. We wait in line which we had no problem with, pull up to the window, a young man confirmed my order and then proceeded to say they were out of nacho fries (I ordered a side of nacho fries, and had nacho fries on my burrito) I asked if we could substitute the fries to the fiesta potatoes instead, he shuts the window and a young women approached the window and confirmed I wanted potatoes on my burrito, had a TERRIBLE attitude and closes the drive through window HARD. Another employee (possible manager?), her name was Allison, came to the window and informed they can not make any substitutes, that I would have to call corporate if I wanted anything to be fixed about it; has an AWFUL attitude, was seriously making sure she was louder and not listening to anything I was trying to say. I finally said forget it just to make me everything with out it, she SLAMS the door, goes and gets my food, I asked for her name so I can call corporate as she said, she states her name and then asks āwhy?!ā, I told her, and she got VERY UPSET. I have ordered 8 items in drive through. Once I reach home, I realized 2 Cheesy Fiesta Potato Bowls missing in the packet. We got only 6 items instead of 8 items ordered. I called in the restaurant (as it is 6 miles away from my home) and requested if they can refund the money for those 2 items. They said they cannot refund the money over the phone.
My family and I were so hungry and it was already 9:00 PM by the time I had phone call with the manager (Brian). He said that he can't return money on the phone. I had to drive all the way back to the restaurant and requested for the refund of whole order ($14.03) instead of just those 2 items ($2.98).
Manager did not accept my request rather he argued with me why he would refund the whole money. I said, it is your mistake, and because of your mistake, I wasted my gas to drive back and forth (12 miles), my time, and the inconvenience caused to me. As a courtesy, I am requesting you to refund the total amount of the order instead of just missing items.
He did not agree to refund back the money, he is rude and argued with me instead
This never happened to me and I am totally dissatisfied with the service he provided. Felt like never go to Taco Bell again.
