This review includes a one-liner talking about the main problem I faced and a summary, but you can read a detailed in-depth review if you scroll down.

In one line this restaurant can be summed up as Paradise Biryani Point: Where delicious food is served with a side of discrimination and unprofessionalism, especially if you're disabled.

Summary Paradise Biryani Point, despite its excellent food, has deeply disappointed due to a pattern of discriminatory behavior, repeated order errors, unprofessional staff, and unfulfilled promises of compensation. This discrimination appears to be specifically targeted towards disabled customers like myself. Two individuals, Srivanti and a man with glasses, were particularly unhelpful and dismissive. These actions reflect a lack of respect for customers and raise concerns about their commitment to inclusivity and ethical business practices. Potential patrons should be aware of these issues and consider alternative dining options where customer satisfaction and inclusivity are prioritized.

Paradise Lost: A Biryani Point Betrayal

Aromatic Deception The aroma of cardamom and clove, the promise of tender meat and fluffy rice – Paradise Biryani Point lured me in with the siren song of authentic Indian cuisine. But beneath the fragrant facade lies a bitter reality of discrimination, negligence, and broken promises that have left me, a disabled customer, feeling deeply betrayed.

More Than Missing limes and onions (Paid for never to have received) This isn't merely a tale of missing onions and limes, though their repeated absence from my delivery orders speaks volumes about the establishment's disregard for detail. It's about the casual cruelty of being treated as less-than, an inconvenience to be dismissed rather than a patron to be valued. This discrimination seems particularly targeted towards me as a disabled individual, highlighting a concerning lack of inclusivity.

Repeated Errors and Empty Promises On November 12th, my order arrived incomplete. On the 13th, the same error. Each time, promises of redress were offered with feigned sincerity, only to evaporate like steam from poorly packaged biryani. These weren't mere oversights, but a pattern of disrespect that stings far more than any missing condiment. Two individuals, Srivanti and a man with glasses, were particularly unhelpful and dismissive when I addressed these concerns.

A Call for Inclusivity Paradise Biryani Point's actions transcend simple customer service failures. They raise serious questions about their commitment to inclusivity and ethical conduct. In a world striving for equality, they serve a bitter dish of discrimination.

The Price of Paradise While their biryani may tantalize the taste buds, I urge potential patrons to consider the cost. Can culinary pleasure truly compensate for the erosion of dignity? Is a flavorful meal worth sacrificing one's right to respectful service?

A Paradise Lost For me, the answer is a resounding no. Though their food is undeniably delicious – the sole reason I've remained a reluctant customer – I yearn for the day another establishment offers comparable cuisine with the basic decency I deserve. Until then, Paradise Biryani Point remains a paradise lost, a testament to how easily neglect and prejudice can poison even the most enticing...

I want other patrons to be aware of this restaurant and this restaurant staffs negative behavior towards my disabled son In short restaurant discriminates and does not fulfill orders correctly and staff behaves unprofessionally. Read below for more

A Father's Anguish My heart aches as I witness the trials my son, Kushal, endures in a world that often overlooks his abilities and focuses on his disability. He confronts these challenges with a quiet strength that fills me with immense pride. However, even the most resilient spirit can be wounded by the persistent sting of injustice. It is with a heavy heart, and a simmering anger, that I share the indignities Kushal has suffered at the hands of Paradise Biryani Pointe. A Restaurant's Disregard This establishment, adorned with the vibrant colors and enticing aromas of Indian cuisine, hides a bitter reality within its walls. Time and again, Kushal's simple requests for sustenance have been met with a callous disregard that betrays any pretense of hospitality. Orders arrive incomplete, essential elements missing as if his patronage were an afterthought. Paid-for limes, onions, utensils, the basic tools of dining, vanish into thin air. The Sting of Disrespect When Kushal dares to raise his voice, to seek rectification for these repeated errors, he is met with the dismissive sneers and curt rebukes of staff who seem to view his disability as an invitation for contempt. A woman identified as Shervanti, and a bearded man with glasses, stand out as particularly egregious offenders, their words dripping with a disdain that cuts deeper than any culinary misstep. Seeking Answers Is it his halting speech that invites such scorn? The tremor in his hand as he reaches for his meal? I cannot escape the chilling conclusion that Kushal's disability is the root cause of his mistreatment. In their eyes, he is less deserving of the basic courtesies afforded to others. A Call for Justice This is not merely a tale of culinary incompetence. It is a stark indictment of an establishment that has failed in its most fundamental duty – to treat all customers with dignity and respect. In their relentless pursuit of profit, they have sacrificed their humanity at the altar of indifference. A Plea for Equality My son, like every other hardworking individual in this nation, deserves to be treated with fairness and respect. He deserves a world where his disability is not a barrier to basic human decency. I implore you, do not let Paradise Biryani Pointe become a symbol of our society's capacity for cruelty. Let Kushal's story be a call to action, a reminder that the fight for true equality continues, one meal, one encounter, one...

My dining experience at Paradise Biryani Pointe at Herndon was a significant disappointment, and I would not recommend it to others. While the ambiance was acceptable and the place appeared to be clean, the food quality and service were lacking in several areas.

To start, we called ahead to place our order under the name Ayesha when we were 15 minutes away from the restaurant. However, when we arrived, they informed us that there was no order under that name. This lack of attention to detail was frustrating and set the tone for the rest of the experience.

We ordered several dishes, including Haleem, chicken 65, Apollo fish, Vegetable Dum biryani, and Andhra goat curry. The Chicken 65 and Apollo fish were decent, but they were served cold, which detracted from their taste. The Haleem was a complete disaster, as it was defrosted and poorly reheated, and the waitress did not seem to care about serving us a fresh dish. The Andhra goat curry was downright terrible, and I would rate it a -1/5. The Vegetable Dum biryani was also a letdown, as it only contained green beans and lacked the variety of vegetables that we were expecting.

The service was also subpar, particularly towards the end of our meal. The waitress was rude and unprofessional when she asked us to clean our table ourselves, which was not communicated to us beforehand. Her tone was unpleasant and made us feel like we were being treated poorly.

Overall, it is clear that Paradise Biryani Pointe at Herndon is not a restaurant that values its customers. The lack of attention to detail, poor quality of food, and unprofessional service all make for a dining experience that is far from enjoyable. Save yourself the trouble and find a different restaurant to...

I recently ordered the Bheemli Mirchi Chaat — a dish I’ve enjoyed many times and one that’s quite popular for its unique taste and presentation. Typically, it comes semi-dry with roasted peanuts and chopped onions cooked together, which gives it that signature flavor I love. However, my latest experience was disappointing. It took over an hour for the order to be prepared, and when I finally received it, the dish was completely different — overly saucy and wet, more like a curry than a chaat. This isn’t how it’s ever been served before. I called the store to raise my concern, and they offered a replacement, which I appreciated. I returned the original dish and picked up the replacement in person. The manager showed me the adjustments they made, but unfortunately, it was still quite wet and lacked the key ingredients — especially the roasted peanuts. When I pointed this out, the manager claimed that they don't use peanuts in this dish. I asked him to double-check the menu, and after consulting with the chef, he returned and explained that they were trying out a “new version” of the dish, which is why peanuts were left out. This left me wondering — are you really experimenting with new versions of dishes without informing customers? If a dish is being changed significantly, shouldn’t that be made clear on the menu or during the ordering process? As a regular customer who truly enjoys this dish, I hope you take this feedback seriously. Consistency and communication are key — especially when it comes to signature items your customers love and trust. If I have the option I would give you 0 rating because of the way your manager and call center representatives spoke.

I've been enjoying Paradise Biryani Pointe in Herndon for over a year now, and I can confidently say it's my go-to spot for authentic and flavorful Indian food. Their Dum Biryanis are simply the best — consistently aromatic, perfectly spiced, and always satisfying. Whether it's chicken, goat, or veggie, every bite is packed with that rich, slow-cooked flavor that true biryani lovers crave. Over the past year, I’ve tried a variety of dishes here, and the quality has never once disappointed. The Hyderabadi Dum Biryani is unbeatable — the meat is always tender, the rice is perfectly cooked, and the blend of spices is spot on. Pair it with their raita and salan, and you have a complete, authentic meal. Their appetizers like Chicken 65 and Gobi Manchurian are also full of flavor and make the perfect start to the meal. And if you're in the mood for something beyond biryani, their curries and breads are just as good — especially the Gongura Goat and Butter Chicken. The staff is friendly and professional, and even during busy hours, they make sure your food is fresh and service is prompt. Whether you’re dining in or taking out, the experience is always top-notch. After a year of regular visits, I can honestly say this place continues to impress. If you're anywhere near Herndon and in the mood for real Dum Biryani, Paradise Biryani Pointe should be your first stop!
