Creno's Pizza — Restaurant in Mechanicsburg

Called in to order a pizza and a few subs for my family and I . The guy that answered the phone was rude . My husband goes to pick up the food walks in and a male behind the counter put his hand up his shirt and was touching his belly and back and then was touching food with no gloves on. And didn’t even wash his hands afterwards. So disgusting. My husband left without the order and called me . I called the store and the same guy that answered the first time answered again. I asked to speak to a manager he said I am a manager but when he answered the phone all he said was hello? He finally got a real manager on the phone a guy named Mike . I told him to cancel my order and told him what happened and all he said was ok. Didn’t even apologize for the other guy . Sounds like someone should be calling the health department on this place . Place isn't straightforward when getting food delivered. Had two separate incidents when going through delivery. On 7/30/24, I ordered 2 large pizzas for my nephews birthday party. Waited 2 hours before it even showed up and was told 30 minutes. Never got an apology or anything. Called in an order last night 9/22/24 and was told an hour, and it was close to 3 hours, and the food never showed up. When we called in about the order, the manager hung up on my sister-in-law. This place is a joke. If you're busy, I completely understand, but don't tell someone one thing and do another. That's not how you conduct business. This place is not going to last doing business like that. This is a small town and things spread fast so I assure you that it won't take long before people take their business elsewhere if they...

So the negative: slow delivery. Whatever they quote, double it. It’s a bit pricey in comparison to normal chains. No real way around it. Plus gratuitous junk mail for kind of slow service. They request that you tip the driver BEFORE they get to your home. Are tips not merit based anymore and just expected that we pay their wages regardless of work?

The positive: it’s good pizza and a pretty good variety for being local. The wings are good and even for being late, the food is still warm when it gets here. The delivery drivers are usually friendly and sometimes have recommendations that are helpful.
