How do I fairly review a baker that is so obviously committed and passionate about the craft of baking??? And beyond that, a wonderful individual who is committed to sprinkling bits of floury joy to all of those she encounters??

We make some awesome cinnamon rolls in our own household, but we happily lay down our rolling pin in order to feast upon the rich decadence that comes from Hattie's Bread Box. Our kids have openly stated that her cinnamon rolls are right up there with the best in the area. Harriet incorporates just the right ratios of everything: icing, cinnamon, sugar, and doughy goodness.

And that sourdough!! You can't go wrong with her classic sourdough: great as a grilled cheese, wonderful as a bread pudding, even more amazing as an overnight french toast casserole. But what's even better is that Harriet is a creative genius and comes up with flavor combinations that take her sourdough to the next level. My absolute favorite so-far is the dark chocolate. I have yet to face a loaf of Harriet's bread that has not pleased the palate.

She sources ingredients locally...supports mills that are just as passionate about their flours as Harriet is about baking. Harriet knows the craft, understands the science behind it, and gives lots of love to the community. She has earned our customer loyalty...

So far, we have purchased the Sourdough and and English muffins. Both are great!! My wife and I finished most of the 1st loaf as soon as we got home.
