Poached — Restaurant in Mechanicsburg

Alright folks, I know you have been to Deiner's when it was here and Deiner 's was a fine establishment for many years. Aside from that "Poached" has now opened and we went today. The building has received a great upgrade and remodel. The interior has a brighter white blue black color scheme, nicely decorated with a new floor and ceiling. The inside has plenty of seating available with small cozy tables and friendly wait staff. You don't have to worry about getting lost in a huge menu , as the menu is sure to please with the many favorites that they offer. Our meals will be featured here as photos. The coffee bar seemingly is well stocked with several knowledgeable staff to make your favorite beverage. Our waitress was awesome, checking back often to make sure our visit was satisfactory. My breakfast consisted of a ham and cheese sandwich that has a creamy mustard sauce on it and an order of fried hash brown potatoes with butter and chives . It was amazing. Looking forward to my next visit. The prices are a bit high but if you can treat yourself, come here....

Was there a recently - the coffee was terrible to me, seemed very bitter like Starbucks and I hate Starbucks; was disappointed that the pancake was quite heavy; generally speaking I am not a hash brown fan I prefer home fries and these hash browns definitely had an odd taste that reminded me of the Simply Potatoes Frozen brand; on the positive side they did have real maple syrup and the poached Benny was interesting-never had a poached on a french toast-however I think the French toast could have been cooked a little more so that it might have kept its Integrity a little better however the eggs were poached perfectly. the owner came by and asked what we thought and I said do you want my honest opinion and he said of course and I told him exactly what I said above. I may not be a fan of poached however I'm a huge fan of black n blue so perhaps this still working on getting The Kinks out. Of note, my dining companion was happy with her meal - guess...

Diener's was way better!! A gross and disgusting place! Even though the restaurant recently opened, it is very dirty. I had to move my table slightly to give the table next to me more room, and the food and dirt and grime that revealed itself when I did that was amazing. How is the dining area of a restaurant so filthy?? Makes me wonder what the kitchen looks like. I ordered a filet cooked MEDIUM. It came out bleeding through the bun and barely warm because it was so raw! $50 for two people to eat a simple breakfast in a low-end Mechanicsburg Borough diner is a travesty! Stay away from this place unless you don't mind filth, paying a lot of money for low quality, and spending the rest of the day...
