Medical Lake location - My experience today: I know they are notoriously slow so I ordered online at 11:20 for 11:45 pickup. I get there at 11:50, no order... As I'm standing 5 feet away, I watch them make a kids (cold) sandwich I ordered and put it in a bag... 15 min later they grab a sandwich that had been under the warming lights the entire time I had been standing there, then they put that in the bag (I'm still not positive this is my order yet)...... 10 more minutes. They ask my name.... then give me the bag that's now been sitting there for 20+ minutes. When I raise question why it took so long they tell me they were waiting on the COLD sandwich I watched him make 20 minutes ago. I left at that so to not completely lose my mind and when I open the bag the kids sandwich had the wrong cheese, the fries were cold, and I was missing a bag of chips. This is ridiculous. This is a small town, I do my best to shop local.... I'm not exaggerating when I say my order is late and wrong 90% of the time. Why do I keep going back? it's local business, I try to give benefit of doubt to kids working there... but today was the last straw. Never apologies, zero attempt to make it right? That's not how you keep...

When I got home there was no chicken for my salad and no dressing. I immediately called, got a busy signal. Waited a few more minutes and called again, the phone rang and rang over and over again. There were 5 people working, you need to place one team member for front counter, lobby clean up and answering the phones! Since no one ever answered I decided to drive back. So I waited and waited....finally someone comes to the front counter, "I ordered chicken Cesear salad and there is no chicken on my salad or dressing." They apologized and asked me to wait....and wait! No apology for my inconvenience! Zero nothing, not a $5 credit, not a free cookie, simply appologizing would have been ok. Then I asked why no one answers the phone, "She said, when we get busy we don't answer the phone!!!" What business owner would want their team of workers to not answer the phone? (Which is an option when ordering online) we asked for no onions because my husband is severely allergic. Instead we chose to sub them for jalapeƱos. (All of which is important, stay with me) when my husband when to pick it up the female employee who was there on 3/22/24 was slamming food around making it very clear she was not happy my husband came in 40 minutes before closing. Our food included onions and lacked the jalapenos. It was also over iceburg not Romain. Which leaves us assuming we also didnāt get the extra add on we paid money for.The most disappointing part of this entire uncomfortable experience is that our dog just died and we didnāt want to cook. So we chose to eat out. I used to work here a long time ago and let me tell you guys. The values just arenāt there anymore. The message was clear.
