El Sombrero Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Medina

I had a decent experience...BUT, I cannot believe a restaurant wouldn't have any ""salad dressing""...I mean, there's a ""SUPER GIANT STORE"" right in the same block and walking time about 3 minutes from this restaurant and I was told they had no Salad Dressing...HUH??? ARE YOU SERIOUS??? Now I have to eat my salad 🥗 with nothing on it??? And the sad thing about it, is, the waiter acted as though it wasn't any problem and just routine day to day operation!!! I won't tell others to not go there...BUT, I won't go back again because the meal was just average and the lack of apology for no Salad Dressing...solidified my decision to NEVER RETURN TO...

Nice thick tortilla chips served with creamy queso and a decent (properly canned) salsa. The Sombrero Quesadilla was a sodium packed explosion of cheesey, meaty, flavor paired with decent Spanish rice also topped with queso makes for a fulfilling Mexican dining experience with absolutely great table service, lively Spanish music and moderate prices. I'm glad I didn't pass this place up just because of the handmade sign...

I normally get food from here to go. I ordered a kids burrito for my daughter, and the bill was almost $10. When I asked why it was that much, I was told that my daughter had asked for cheese sauce instead of burrito sauce and that they also now charge $1.50 for all take out orders (something that was not told to us when we ordered).
