Tacos Vs. Sushi - Medina — Restaurant in Medina

This restaurant is new and has a ton of room for improvement. They are actually missing half of the menu, THEY DON'T HAVE ANY MEXICAN FOOD!! Which is actually kinda funny, but it's still going to get this placed dinged.

For me, food was really good. Guy, we had waiting on us was good too. Drinks and food came out faster than expected, and presentation was very nice. I don't really have complaints about that.

My issues start and end with the atmosphere, basically.

As it stands now, they are a sushi bar with Japanese/Chinese food that has Mexican beer and mariachi music blasting. It's just kinda weird to me. When they first opened the service and food were amazing. Since adding the Mexican food, the service has gone down. Our table ordered from both Mexican and the sushi menus. Unfortunately the sushi came out significantly later than the Mexican food, like everyone eating Mexican was finished and the sushi roll had to be taken home. This was the second visit that, that has happened. The Mexican food wasn’t bad but not the greatest. The sushi is amazing though! The air is not working properly in the section when you come in, so definitely request to sit in the other area. They have fans but it’s not enough in the heat. Went for the first time for dinner since now they have Mexican food. Wait was about 25min. Husband had steak tacos with chorizo. Looked like beef and really burnt. Son had a burger, he said it was OK. Other son had beef tacos, said it tasted like cardboard. I had a chicken burrito. Not a fan.
