Move over one more, oh ye recently swollen ranks of local Unpretentious Excellent American breakfast. A blazing second-place finish for my hardest-to-get-right-in-central-Florida breakfast staple, corned beef hash, goes to La Loma. (Most of you who say "eeeewww" have not had good corned beef hash) (Actually you can routinely find the jaw-droppingly good hash only in Amish or Pennsylvania Dutch Pennsylvania). Don't let the name fool you, these La L folks have an American breakfast worth trying.
Bonus Points: You can get breakfast (the best meal of the day) all day. 10 years ago, of the best breakfasts available, perhaps only That Little Restaurant had breakfast all day.
Love how the waitress promptly admitted the hash was canned, but they did something to them. First place remains with the homemade hash at Banana River cafe, still #1 breakfast in the increasingly cutthroat Space Coast Unpretentious, Simple-to-Moderate Preparation, breakfast club.
To be even ranked in the same league as Banana River is an iron-clad guarantee of an Excellent traditional American breakfast. The atmosphere was a tad bit tacky BUT I can definitely tell they have at least put effort into making it a welcoming and clean environment. The service was exceptional and the food came out quickly. Lucy did a great job with waiting on us. My ONLY complaint, if that, is they didnt have real butter to use. Only margarine. Otherwise, we had a great experience, and will be going back as one of my favorite...

The waitresses are top notch and give you fast and efficient service. They are all very friendly and go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need to have a wonderful meal.
The cook does a wonderful job and if you aren't happy, he takes it back and makes it the way you ask.
Raul (owner) personally comes by in addition to the waitresses and makes sure everything is to your liking and it always is.
I can't say enough good about this restaurant, they go above and beyond to make sure you get...
