Starbucks — Restaurant in Melbourne

Again, like I said of McDonald's they respect your time while eating there that they have ports galore just for charging your phone or simply work or play on your laptop - and they even have this huge fabulous outdoor patio with cushioned chairs for you to eat and ability to charge your phone at every seat in the patio area. And neither they or the police bother you for being there after hours resting and charging your phone. And l mean like 2:00 in the morning late! And I must say yeah on during my completely broke times (3) I've been in their dumpster and found the same delicious food that they serve inside as they throw everything not sold away obviously and start fresh again everyday. And they know people down on their luck go there to eat like I did cause they got cameras and gaps that allow access to the dumpster itself and bright lights so you can see what your finding is sanitary so to speak because it is always double trash bagged nice and neat as if they know some one homeless and hungry might have to eat it. I think it's got something to do with the kids that work there having been down that road before or friends who are is why they care. Or being kids they know it's food to good to be just thrown away and care that someone may go in their dumpster and eat it so why make it hard for that person who may have to eat it. Their just good kids having fun operating a fabulously good food business and know that everybody dreams of drinking coffee from Starbucks, even the people who can't afford it, or just down on their luck for awhile which could happen to them being young in life, trouble will find them. I have an incredibly soft spot for Starbucks. It’s a mood changer for me. Today it changed my mood for the worse 😕 I was headed from an appt to work and had an extra 20 minutes to spare, so I figured what better way to start my afternoon than with a frappuccino, right?! I pulled to the drive thru around noon & it was pretty busy— no big deal, I’ve got some time to work with. I waited for about 8 minutes until I made it to the box to put in my order. 3 minutes of waiting and still no greeting. I could see the people in line behind me we’re getting slightly agitated, wondering why I hadn’t moved up in line, so I gave it one more minute - nothing. Feeling a little confused myself, I thought, “ok I’ve worked a drive thru before. This happens. I’ll just order at the window, no biggie.” After waiting about 5 more minutes I pulled to the window, ready to order really quickly before I was late to work... 30 seconds later & no one came to the window. By that point I was just extremely fed up. I waited in line for nearly 20 mins with nothing to show for it but a late clock in time. Definitely a...

It's the best Starbucks I have ever been to. I go here a lot to sit under the shady outside patio. Enter by the parking lot on Eau Gallie. Trying to turn in from the turn lane is taking you life into your own hands. Just make the left from US 1 and make a left into the parking lot off Eau Gallie. The staff rotates like any Starbucks. But they're always quick and well managed. Bathrooms are always clean too. Inside is small but hey, we live in Florida. Do you really want to sit inside?

Edit: They used to have wonderful cushy couches under the outside area. They removed them all. Not in either sit on hard metal chairs or have to sit on the side of the store that has no shade with couches. This makes what was my favorite spot less wonderful. If you change this, I will change the review back. Pretty please?

Edit: Furniture has been changed back to hard uncomfy chairs. Ease put comfy seats back so I can read my Conan books happily. I will readjust the rating to reflect to uncomfy chair...
