I've been back 6 times about 5 months in between visits hoping the food will improve but it doesn't. Today went in expecting spaghetti like the website said there wasn't any. Got 2 buffets to go. Meatloaf was bland with celery in it. Celery doesn't go in meatloaf. The lasagna was very bland it lacked any Italian spices and no garlic toast for it. My husband also had the tatertot hotdish which was also bland. It had carrots, peas and corn in it but that doesn't belong in it but it should have I cream of mushroom soup, celery, onions and tatertots in which i couldn't see. My mother didn't like the food either. My husband loves the Coborns meatloaf but he won't eat what's in this picture. The wings I had were fine but everything else was very bland and very little taste. My husband says I'm not allowed to go back to Cornerstone again to get any food any more!!! Hopefully the food will eventually develope taste and be cooked correctly. We've had the Schnitzel on German night and what they serve is not schnitzel either.

Adorable little diner-like restaurant. Be prepared for some Midwestern home-cooking fare. I had the rib special and the ribs were fall of the bone delicious. The sauce was just OK, though, as it just seemed like a doctored bottled sauce. The portion was nice and large! My mom got the wild rice soup and it seemed like it came from a Campbell's base. She said she really enjoyed it, though. They are known for popovers, and those did not disappoint. It also featured a cute little store area with home goods and tasty treats. Be sure to check out the bakery for tasty treats! We had the pistachio pie and it was DELICIOUS!

We had a delicious late lunch here on our first big driving day of a two week road trip. I got the wild rice chicken salad wrap with regular fries - the fries were freshly fried and just needed a little more salt which was nice to be able to add myself with their salt grinder at the table. My husband got the Cornerstone breakfast and liked everything but the scrambled eggs (though he's super picky about eggs - to me, they were fine.)

First time here and I appreciated this cozy little shop! The decorations were great! My partner and I ordered a little feast for ourselves, and the kitchen accidentally made extra food of what we had ordered and they brought it out to us and didn't charge us for the extra food. That was much appreciated. We enjoyed everything from the smoothie to the coffee to the French toast to the hash Browns to the sausage and eggs.

Unfortunately, we were not fans of the chicken strips and fries, as the chicken strips tasted like they were warmed up in a microwave and the fries were tasteless. We also ordered a vegetable omelet and it was packed with too many vegetables, in my opinion, and had a whole lot of cheese. I felt like I had to dig to find the egg since it felt like I was eating cheesy vegetables with a side of eggs.

The other thing that I will note is the ice cream seemed old, maybe? It looked good but it didn't taste as I thought it would. It had a weird texture to it that typically ice cream has when it is older (from what I know from my experience working in an ice cream shop when I was younger). I was also a little thrown off when the person who dealt with my ice cream cone didn't wash their hands or put on gloves before helping me. This individual was doing something else, cleaning I believe, and when I walked up to the register, he came to help me, which of course I appreciated, but then he was touching the register, which one can assume is dirty, and then went to find my cone after touching the register and whatnot. He grabbed the cone with his bare hand, no cone sleeve or anything, and then started scooping. I almost didn't want my cone anymore. My partner and I ended up eating some of the ice cream and then throwing the rest of it away.

Overall, the staff was very welcoming and accommodating and most of the food that we had...

So disappointing....went out with my granddaughter after a very tuff week...stopped here randomly and at first I didn't get all you can eat crab legs cause it was over doubled the price but I didn't like most of the other overcooked hot food...steak was tuff...fish shriveled to nothing dark brown every kind of fish was overcooked..so figured I would splurge for once...salad bar was good ..but due to waitress who was obviously really trying to be nice but not..and some creepy old man cook who kept looking through kitchen window at us..he was really creepy and clothes were dirty...looked terrible..he then approached the table asking how crab legs were...I had ordered another serving and had not received it yet.. he made it obvious he felt I had enough...mind you I only had two servings..and if you eat crab legs its alot of work for little results...besides it was all you can eat I would hate to see plp with big appetites come in here and really eat some crab legs..the only other plp here were families cause kids eat free and kids didn't eat much cause it was surf&turf night...total bill was 48$ needless to say...was not worth it...horrible services...bathroom very dirty..ceiling fans full of black dust...I would not recommend this place..definitely in need of...

Steve is amazing! Much of what we had served at our recent Gathered Oaks wedding was not even on the catering menu — Steve either offered to make us something he thought we’d love (which we did!) or we asked & he made it happen.

People went crazy over how amazing our food was. Everything was fresh & made from scratch!!! We served beef stroganoff, grilled chicken breast with Raspberry sauce & Béarnaise sauce, great beans, baby reds, strawberry feta salad, and a dinner roll buffet style. He also had his staff serve our head table so that we did not have to go through the buffet line.

Our late night snack was also not on the menu. I asked Steve in June if it’d be possible for us to do a soft pretzel bar. He told me he had never done one, but would check into it & make it happen. He then asked if we’d also like to add variety and do a nacho bar along with it. The night of the wedding, he showed up with THREE kinds of soft pretzels: salted, Parmesan garlic, & cinnamon sugar and a full nacho bar with any topping you could imagine. I was stunned. And it was...
