18 Wayz Wingz & Thingz — Restaurant in Memphis

Well folks, I did the most bone-headed thing imaginable and placed my 18 Wayz online order just as a massive snow storm hit the city. I almost got side-swiped by a pickup on 385 on on the way there, but honestly? I'm not that mad, because the food was hot and ready for us when we got there. Unfortunately, they were out of the dessert we ordered, but the owner kindly gave us a refund for that item. As for the food itself, we were impressed. They do a pretty good Philly cheesesteak, and that's coming from a Philly native. It's not traditional (soft roll instead of a hoagie roll), but it hits the spot. We also loved the Philly cheesesteak egg rolls. And of course we had to get some wings, so I went with the Honey Gold, which is my go-to in Memphis. They were juicy and saucy and I liked them, but they're definitely not your typical Honey Gold: they're a little sweeter and more acidic. I appreciated the way everything was presented, and the sprinkling of fresh herbs. Overall, I wish everything was a little crispier, but I know those styrofoam containers are the enemy of fried food. Next time we'll order at the counter and eat right there in the restaurant. Hopefully we'll get to try the dessert, as well as one of the more "exotic"...

My first experience was great I had a turkey leg the presentation got me before I even taste the turkey leg it had the carrots and celery cut up on top with seasoning and soaked in the garlic parmesan flavor that I had chosen for my turkey leg it was awesome. I had told my coworkers, family, and friends about my experience and to give them a try. Well since then I have returned serveral times after that looking for that same experience. But to my disappointment I never received that presentation since no carrots no celery no seasoning all I receive is a turkey leg with very little of the flavor that I get on it. The young lady taking the orders I think she is now the manager has a not so pleasent attitude I called one time to place an order she put me on hold while on hold I was able to get dressed and drive up there still on hold when I got there and explained to her that she had me still on hold she never apologized she just took my order. I give a 3 star because customer service plays a major part in a business especially a upcoming business but the turkey leg itself is still good cooked...

Bad service and wings had poor quality and taste. I ordered a cheeseburger with seasoned cut fries on Friday through an online order. After having my ordered confirmed online when I arrived to the location they could not find my order. I was told to contact menufy which is their third party online service. After speaking with menufy and having their representative contact the restaurant I was then told that they had no cheeseburgers and I could replace it with something else. I tried their honey gold wings even though this is not what I ordered. The quality of the wings were poor. Had been wanting to try this place since they came to the area and to support black owned restaurants. But will not be going again and will be sharing with everyone not too. This business will be out of this neighborhood within 5 years due to the lack of organization and and the quality does not match...
