It really isn't big enough for the bigger dog section of the park. The small dog area is perfectly fine. But the larger dog area should be at least three times that size. There is no staff at this park and I think that the people that come to this park do a really good job of making sure dogs have water available. I would love to see some restructuring of the fencing since part of it is already broken and possibly a much larger space for the bigger dogs. The confinement tends to create a hectic air and there's really not as much room for the hyperactive dogs that...

The park itself is really nice and there are two separate areas for different sized dogs one for small dogs other for large dogs nicely fenced-in with water fountains.there's a play area for children and there are nice walking, biking and running trails. The only problems are people don't seem to know what side their dog belongs in. Parking is very tight and it is usually crowded. It is immediately next to the zoo so driving through there can be compared to a nightmare sometimes but overall nice...

We loved this dog park and it's location. Mempops truck was parked nearby on a hot summer day as well (so glad they were they have delicious popsicles!). It was our first time in Memphis and we were able to do a lot of things in this one area with our kids and dogs.Within walking distance to Levitt Shell where Elvis Presley once performed, an awesome art school and exhibits to see and the park surrounding the dog park was beautiful as well. If I am not mistaken there was a zoo nearby as well?...

I arrived about 2p on a Monday afternoon and 70 beautiful degrees. It was my 1st time here to take my dog to the Overton Bark section for dogs. It's a large, shaded fenced in area for pups to run around. There were only about 3 others there. I opted to walk my pup around the area. There is a picnic area, tables spaced far apart. Several golfers on the course. There is a walking sidewalk path. Probably more but I enjoyed where I was!

My 2 pups love coming here! The mix of different dogs is nice, and the majority of people who frequent here are friendly and take care to handle their dogs. Unfortunately I can't give 5 stars because there have been several occasions that someone brought a large dog into the park that was not actually friendly. My dogs avoid fights but if they were more dominant, I would have to think twice about coming here.

Memphis has many dog parks but I can't see how they could be any better than Overton Bark. Of course, there are two sides: small dogs under 25 pounds, and the other, larger side for "any size dog." Plenty of waste stations and a nice water fountain for humans and dogs (high and low spouts). Also, the people are always extremely nice
