I just had a very unpleasant experience at THIS McDonald's. At the drive through window I ordered 2 double cheese burgers, 1 Large sweet tea, 1 medium fry, and 2 APPLE PIES... I was told that the apple pies would take 12 minutes to cook and I was totally fine with waiting :-). My receipt has (Mon) 15:00 which means 3:00 pm. A friend and I pulled up to Reserved spot number 2. I ate my food, waited, ate more food and waited. I took note of the time, and walked inside the McDonald's restaurant after waiting almost 40 mins!? (3:38 to be exact) The lobby was packed. I spoke, Excuse me, to one of the female Crew Members. She acknowledged me, and I said, I ordered 2 Apple pies almost 40 mins ago , and (blah) I was told it (blah) would (blah) at this point she's already cutting me off, and saying, Oh I thought chall just ate and was gone or something but by this time another female Crew Member is telling her, naw they were still sitting out there. Understandably, yet at the same time, where was the communication between Crew Members if one already knew? That equals mistakes that don't have to happen. So then, (after a few mins of restaurant chatter) the first Crew Member I spoke to when I walked in, hands me a small bag. I take the bag and say thank you. So, as I'm about to walk off while looking in the bag, I notice there's only one apple pie :-/ in the bag. I turn back around and say, I ordered 2 Apple pies!? She replies with. Oh, I thought you just said one. I hand her the bag back. Finally after about another 45 seconds to 1 min I was handed 2 very warm fresh Apple pies. Needless to say, I was satisfied with the product, but the lack of exceptional customer service, and time it took to manifest was very uncomfortable and unpleasant to...
Read moreIf there was negative stars it would get -5. I ordered from the kiosk. A double cheeseburger with extra onions, mustard and pickles. Added a large drink. I said eat in and it asked me for a table number. I did all of and paid for it. 30 minutes later I get up from my seat and go to front counter. Where I ask is my order? The young lady has a nasty attitude, I called out this number. It wasn't the table number. She grabs the burger, squeezing it, a large fry? Shoves in bag. I ask for my drink cup, she almost tosses at me. Then tells me again, I called your number. I did not day anything more than thank you. Left to eat my cold double cheese, no extra anything. She did give me a large fry, slightly warmer than the sandwich. Ketchup out. Coke half right in setup. Most of the tables are dirty, trash on them. Floor with trash. Yelling and cussing behind the counter. I hope this was not due to racist attitude. She seemed extra rude for some reason. I won't be going back to this McDonald's nor will I suggest it. It had now replaced what I thought the worst in Memphis.
Pictures and receipt.
I have visited some bad fast food before, this ranks near the worst experience of all of them. It's on my bad list for McDonald's.
Maybe all the staff there needs to find...
Read moreI pull up to the second drive-through order only to be told to wait a moment. Another vehicle pulls up to the first drive-through ordering station and they place their order and they’re gone already. Of course I am a little puzzled to why when I have gotten my order taken under two minutes and be gone on my way?! Then less than 30 seconds later I am told could you hold for a moment please. I’ve already healed for you the first time I responded. The young lady on the hits it says she’s not at her register yet. If you’re not at your register then why even turn on your headset it all! I go to work like everyone else I get out early sure I could’ve went somewhere else or I could have cooked at home and save myself some time and money, but I chose to come to McDonald’s to get breakfast.
Best thing a person can do is make sure to act as if they were in my shoes. And that’s not the only side to Banks how about the person putting the whole debit card reader out the window rather than take in the card swipe and hand it and the receipt back. I have no clue who’s training these folks but they need to get some more...
