SereniTea House — Restaurant in Mendon

If you are wondering how good a tea place can be in a little strip mall in a building with the post office the answer is fantastic. There are amazing tea offerings, shockingly good coffee and a wide range of excellent food. I’m a big bagel sandwich person and have been unhappy with the sandwiches in the area, until now. Available all day the breakfast sandwich is the best in the region by a mile and is easily one of the best I’ve ever had. This place is clearly a work of love from the owners to the Mendon area folks. It’s at 4 Maple St. in the same long building as the post office. Do yourself a favor just head over here instead of the average other offerings in Mendon, Milford or Hopedale. Try them one time and you will never go anywhere else for coffee, tea, baked goods and sandwiches. FYI I have no connection to anyone here I’ve just wished for a great place in Mendon for a while. One standout product I tried was their Moon Milk herbal tea, which turns a mesmerizing blue when steeped. It’s caffeine-free, perfect for relaxing evenings, and tastes absolutely divine! This place is absolutely hands down my favorite place to come in the morning, and up until this point, it’s only my second time (of many more soon to come visits) so far. The owner, Shayna, is an absolute joy to be around, such a positively infectious personality and soul she has. I cannot stress enough how anyone who comes here, should only have one thing to worry about, and that’s how far your commute will be when you inevitably become a regular here. Prices here are good, the portions are massive and will fill you up, and the drink menu they have is extensive, all used with locally sourced teas. The strawberry honey matcha was my favorite, rivals every place I have ever been to get matcha, and this place may of just snuck its way to my top spot.
