Santiagos Taco Shop — Restaurant in Menifee

Used to love this restaurant, however, they have made online ordering a pain. When placing orders through Ubereats, the order will confirm and then the restaurant will cancel the order at the pickup time when I've already drove there to pick it up. When using Door dash, they have intentionally blocked customers from being able to include special instructions (No Guac for example) in their orders. Other online ordering services, they have the prices way higher than what you pay when you go into the restaurant to order. This is unfortunate. Santiagos was our families go-to restaurant for convenient and delicious meals. I have personally spent Thousands of dollars there, but over the past few months, the service has been getting worse and worse. I don't know if management has changed or if they just stopped caring about their returning customers. Either way, I hope they figure it out or I will have to find...

I gave Santiago's Taco Shop a 5🌟 rating because My hubby & I were looking for a different Taqueria or Mexican food to try & We were driving by Santiagos Taco Shop 🌮 located in Sun City or Menifee CA and we decided to give it a try! It was definitely worth the try as it was very good! 😋 Their El Pastor is so flavorful! We both loved it!! Their Achiote Chicken chimichanga was also amazing!! Each one having such different flavors but lots of seasonings or spices that make it as yummy as it is! The size of that chimichanga could also have fed two people easily. In fact next time we visit I think my hubby and I are going to have too share the plate! Lol.. I ordered the potato taco plate, chips and sour cream. When I got there I was charged $29 and I told her my meal is never over $15. She thought I ordered something else and asked the cook to make 2 potato tacos. I then waited for my meal and left. When I got to work I tasted the taco and there was meat inside (I don't eat meat). I took the tacos back and there was a receipt under the plate, it said 2 beef tacos plate for $10 and then chips and guacamole. I explained to the lady that I was over charged because I didn't order beef tacos and I didn't get get guacamole. She told me that I did get sour cream and didn't give me the difference in price.
