I have been going to different Starbucks locations for the past 15 years, and I can honestly say that Iāve never ever encountered one rude employee. Everyone has always been very pleasant, and extremely friendly. Well, last night at this Starbucks location drive-thru the employee at the window was very rude! I was actually shocked. First, we wanted to add on to our order. I forgot to order one drink which was for my daughterā¦at the drive-thru screen. So once we pulled up to the window I asked if we could add on the extra drink before she scanned my phone to charge us. The employee then said āWe canāt do that after weāve taken your orderā. So I replied āThatās fine. We will just go back through the drive-thru againā. It wasnāt a busy night at all. There was literally one car behind us. But then my daughter asked me to get her a cup of ice water instead. Weāve asked for ice water at several Starbucks locations, and are always given a cup. Well this employee then stated āWe canāt do that after your order is completeā. I was thinking, Really?!? Starbucks doesnāt even charge for a cup of water. Why would it be a problem? Itās not difficult to pour some water into a cup, and hand it to us. I didnāt tell her anythingā¦We just left. This employee didnāt seem to enjoy her job at all. It was clear by her actions, and expression on her face. She has very poor customer service skills. I wish I would have gotten her name. It was at exactly 10:05pm on 12/8/23. With all of the money weāve spent in the past at this particular Starbucks, it was upsetting. Iām not one to complain either, but wonāt be going to this location anymore after this incident. Ā Ā Ā Read moreGot a black coffee with cream at the drive through. The cup was overfilled and spilling when the barista handed it to me. Ok, fine, it happens. I drove away to park and to dump out some of the coffee so it wouldn't spill all over my car. When I took the lid off, I saw that the cream was curdled. I walked inside and let them know that I had been given a cup of coffee with curdled cream. I was told I would have to wait 5 minutes for a new pot of coffee. I asked if I could get an Americano instead; the barista didn't respond, just walked away to ask who I'm guessing was some kind of manager (she was dressed in street clothes.) 10 minutes passed. As I went to ask the barista/manager if she had a service recovery Americano ready, the first person who I talked to yelled something to me from across the store. I walked to the purchase counter because I thought she had a new coffee for me. Nope. Close to 20 minutes for a cup of coffee that I didn't even get; I'm recovering from back injuries, I was in pain. After being served an undrinkable cup of coffee and rude treatment, I walked out. If I had just changed my mind, maybe I would have expected the bad attitude and lack of willingness to provide the product I had already paid for. But this was their error and oversight. Then the window barista hands me only 1 drink.. (i had 2 drinks and 2 chocolate milks) then asks me if i have any other drinks?... (o.O)? I tell them yes. To which he leaves... comes back with the second drink then walks away for 5 minutes. When he gets back to the window he asks if im waiting on something else? I then ask him if he even read my order.. to which he replies that he is just being told over the headset.. š¤¦āāļø seriously i waited in line for 25 minutes only to wait an additional 15 minutes for my drinks and then they still had to ask me if i had anything else? Horrible. On top of that the barista gave an attitude to me for asking if they even read my order. I wont be going to this...
