Biggies Custard — Restaurant in Mentor-on-the-Lake

Went there last night ordered two flurries. 1 cheesecake with cookie dough and peanut butter cups. 1 med apple pie flurry with cookie dough and peanut butter cups. You guys forgot my toppings and the apple pie flurry was absolutely atrocious. It tasted like you were drinking the flavoring out of the bottle. My kid threw it in the trash. This is the 3 time I’ve visited and the 3rd time it’s been a horrible experience. I understand people make mistakes, I understand that this shop is ran by kids with summer jobs. But at some point just maybe better training or recipe cards or even a manager over the age of 18 that knows what’s going on. I’ll just go to DQ for now on better to spend the extra 3$ and actually have edible product...

Love Biggies and have for years. We had an offsetting experience Memorial Day. We ordered our ice creams then stepped aside to wait. My daughter’s was done first. As I went to grab it when a little girl from the other window, stepped in front of me and took it for herself. Clearly there was a mix up and she had ordered the same thing 2 seconds before. The thing that astounded me was, rather than apologizing, the adults of the little girl offered up excuses and giggles. The accidental swiping of the ice cream was no biggie. This was the very first time our family had ever been to Mentor. The Lake was so relaxing the wind was just blowing so perfectly, and the park I really didn't want to leave the people was so nice and made us feel so welcoming. We then topped it off with Biggies Custard shop and they were the sweetest people ever, we came back home to Canton Ohio and told our neighbors and friends about our experience to Mentor on the Lake and everyone said they can't wait to travel to Mentor and have the same experience my...
