Church's Texas Chicken — Restaurant in Mercedes

I'm writing this review to express my extreme disappointment with the consistently poor customer service at this establishment. My most recent visit, unfortunately, followed a pattern of previous bad experiences. ​On this occasion, I waited for over five minutes after walking in, only to be told, "We will be with you in a minute." The lack of acknowledgement and delay was frustrating. More importantly, this location consistently runs out of the main menu items. I have made several trips hoping to get a family combo with either enough regular or spicy chicken, but I'm almost always told it's unavailable. ​This ongoing issue means I have to either drive to a competitor or go to a different city just to get the food I want. The repeated lack of preparation and poor service has made it impossible to rely on this location. I strongly suggest that management addresses these recurring problems with stock and customer service to prevent further...

It was a disappointing experience. First, it was difficult making my choice of meals for four. Once I ordered, I went to window to pay and I was asked to park in the front and they would bring me the order. While I sat waiting the 5 minutes I was told it would take, I watched others in the place. 10 minutes later, the people parked next to me went inside and came out with a big order. I had placed mu order before them. I then saw one of the employees go to the window of the car and took two order back. I watched them rummage thru the bag. A few more minutes a young lady came out with a large order. The people next to me rolled down their window. The lady came to my window. I asked her, "was my order/food in the other people's car?" She insisted "no". She eventually said something about just a small order. I couldn't understand her thru the mask. Very disappointing activity especially with this...

Not a very good first visit. After a long day at work I figured it would be simple and quick to stop here since it's right down the street from my house.. Mind you I don't like dark meat I ordered a 2 piece all-white meal with a large drink. Well I get home and I have a 3 peice meal. 1 thigh( dark meat) not white, 1 leg which didn't seem cooked all the way. And 1 wing the only white piece. And that was super dry. So I paid almost 10 for something I gave to my pets. I only at the mashed potato. And I'm glad I came home to eat since no napkins or utensils were given. Maybe instead og sid conversation they should be concemtrating on the food or at least say oh we don't have this...
