UPDATE TO MY PREVIOUS REVIEW: The restaurant responded to my review 2 months ago- somehow I was not aware . I didn’t receive a notification. Then out of the blue on Friday I received a notification. I called and the restaurant and I spoke to a male and then he put a female names Elise I believe is her name . I asked them to make good on their response which was either a free meal or a refund. I wanted a refund since the food was so horrible here . They both gave me an argument , this is why the male put the female on the phone. She said it’s been too long for them to make good on either thing they offered and I told her I would update my review - she said “I don’t care , I will say it’s lies you are posting”. BEWARE OF THIS RESTAURANT . How can the cooks be good or become great if managers and owners are not good stand up people , great customer service starts from the top! There are quite a few Chinese restaurants in Meriden , please go somewhere else and do go to this place if you value customer service, respect and your hard earned dollar. I could have brought them a lot of business - seeing that I help with catered events as a side job , if they would have shown that they value their customers I would have tried them out again and possibly used them for an event . Read moreThey are careless people. I ordered food for my children and myself and they sent the wrong order, then had the audacity to tell me I was wrong when I called. That they only make the chicken that way and would replace it but that was the only way they make that style chicken, for context. It was golden chicken fingers with honey sauce on top rather than honey chicken. She proceeded to argue over me when I was trying to explain to her what I meant and when I reminded her that this was a business and she was being unprofessional she then said “you’re the one who keeps talking talking talking.” Like she wasn’t just cutting me off not allowing me speak which of course is going to make anyone repeat themselves since some individuals do not understand how to converse. They are rude and would more than likely spit in your food if had the chance.
Edited to your reply… Considering you checked camera footage.. is that rude behavior how your train your staff to be? Because it does not change the fact that she was incredibly rude and when I corrected her, she couldn’t take it, and it made her even more rude! You should definitely retrain your associates to be more professional and not argumentative.! If you REALLY cared about making sure your customers are satisfied then you would make sure YOUR STAFF are not rude while doing so. We would call when leaving work at night, and explained we would be about 20 - 25 minutes, which was still before closing. While driving there they would call and say "Why aren't you here yet, are you coming?" This was 20 minutes into the 20-25 minutes we were there in the 25 minutes we said we would, but very rude. Then one night we called and the woman was extremely rude and refused to take our order as she said we had ordered before and not picked up the food. Which was not the case, we just got in a minute or two before they closed, we paid for the food and left, we explained it would be close as we were leaving for work. She apparently left before they locked up refused to take our order. Between the lack of cleaning of the place, lack of customer service we started going elsewhere it wasn't worth the trip.
