We ate here on 2/11 for my son’s birthday. Walking in you will instantly be greeted, and be told that you can not pick a booth over a table or even a table over a booth, because they have to sit you in “rotation” of the servers. So as a family who uses booths to keep our 1 and 3 year olds contained we were sat at a table. Second, our waitress had no idea what was on the menu or even how to ring things in. Ordering was slow and painful. I ordered an iced French vanilla latte, and a create your own sandwich on a bagel. My latte came out hot, so I informed the waitress who brought it to me that I wanted it iced not hot. YALL THIS LADY POURED MY HOT LATTE OVER ICE AND GAVE IT BACK. My “Iced latte” was still hot at the bottom. Then it’s time for food to come out. When I ordered a create your own sandwich on a bagel I expected a full size bagel. Nope they bring you out a sandwich on a mini bagel. So for 12 dollars you get a mini bagel, 1 egg and a slice of craft American cheese. It was the saddest sandwich I had ever seen. Also once the food comes out the waitress who told us several times that she would be right over with it, finally decides that my husband can have his ice water that he ordered when we were seated. When it’s time to pay, they walk over with their what seems to phones, and hand it to you while they stand over you. So as you’re trying to pay and tip you’re watched. Definitely made us feel super uncomfortable. All in all we spent 50 dollars on what was one of the worst breakfasts I’ve had in a very long time. We will not...
Read moreOn Saturday July 20th a group of my friends and I who are currently in the area for a month came to eat at the restaurant per my suggestion as I had previously been the week before and given rave reviews. This day, we came in 7 people strong. We were seated at the high top table in the back. Shannon Brown was our server, on a day that she normally didn’t work (weekends) she went above and beyond. Immediately she let us know the internet was down but she was going to ensure we were taken care of. She was attentive, made sure we had everything we needed. Checked up on us multiple times throughout our stay. Kept us in the loop with where our food was, why it may be taking longer than normal. Shannon kept remarking how she was grateful our group had been patient with her and we all unanimously said we were grateful for her. Despite how hot it was in the restaurant how overwhelmed all the staff looked with the internet issues and making sure customers were still being taken care of, Shannon remained the most poised. She made the best of a tricky situation and I applaud her for that. She was hands down one of the best servers I’ve had. I can speak. Or only for myself but for my group when I say if we come back it’s Shannon we want to see and have as our...
Read moreI have to drive 20 miles to get breakfast. I have a serious back injury that prevents me from sitting straight up in chairs. I really like this place because they have more options that are healthy, and the waiters are very nice. They were allowing me to go through the front of restaurant and place my order and then sitting in my car and picking it up at the window. They then told me I could do online order which I thought was great. I go at least twice per week and always tip but today 07/20/2024 the online services was down so I drove the almost 40 miles out of my way and ask kindly if i could place an order and I would sit in my car for any amount of time, tip her , and come in and receive my order. she would have a table to serve someone else and my money as well. She said no, the owner would not allow this. I then asked her if I could reserve a table and go outside and she could place it on the table and I could tip her and she said no.
I do not understand why this policy makes sense and with this kind of customer service I do no think this establishment will be around long in Meridian Ms North Hill St. I hate this but some people have health issues and can not sit in straight back chairs due to pain. I will not go back unless the...
