Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Meridian

So I drove 11 hours in the car from Texas. We get to the hotel with two hungry kids and decide to order pizza. We call Papa John’s because we can usually depend on them, well Meridian MS is definitely not the place to depend on them. I was told 45 minutes for delivery, well fast forward to 1 hour since our order and we call to check only to be told it showed order completed on their end, like it’s not their problem because apparently they don’t deliver their own pizza, probably because they don’t want to pay them enough to deliver pizza. They tell me I should check the front desk for it, so I do and of course no pizza. I go back to my room and call the store again and at this point I’m so pissed I can’t see straight, I am then informed they can remake it and send it out again and I have already waited over an hour for the food. So I told them I want a refund because I have waited way too long for my order at this point and 2 hours is ridiculous. I will order from Pizza Hut next time, they don’t take an hour for pizza. PS: Pizza did arrive at about the 1 hour 20 minute mark and it was cold so I still stand by this review. They need to pay delivery people because if I wanted Door Dash to deliver my food I would order...

I ordered 3 pizzas for delivery this evening. I was kind of on the fence between ordering from them or a competitor because of the look of their building. The awning thing out front is faded, torn and looks bad. But I went ahead and ordered because they had a special on large one toppings. The delivery driver was great. But the 'your food is on its way' map was terrible. It doesn't show how close or far they are from you. So I had to sit by the door waiting for 10 minutes. Anyways, very happy with the driver! But the pizzas. They had plenty of cheese. But they were so bland. It really wasn't enjoyable eating the couple of slices that I had. And their 'survey' they sent me afterwards was terrible. I spent 3-4 minutes and got halfway through and it locked up and gave me an error message. So I just wasted that time. I'm just unhappy with the entire ordeal! I always order Papa John's, at least once a week, and it's always been great, until it wasn't. Last week, I ordered (as usual) from the app. I ordered garlic sauce with everything, like always. I got NO garlic sauce at all, and where are the peppers? Always love those better pickles 😉. Great service though. Everything was delicious. Tonight I ordered the usual. AGAIN, no garlic sauce and no peppers. From the time the app tracker said, "it's on its way" it took over an hour to get here. We always get the same thing, meatball papadillia, Philly cheese steak papadillia and 1 order of cheese sticks. So, Tonight it took forever, was cold,no sauces, no peppers. It was NASTY. Even Brandi didn't want to eat it!! I'm telling y'all, don't know what's happening at Papa John's on North Hills, but they are going down hill fast!! Then, I called the store to speak to the mgs.
