Dunkin' — Restaurant in Merrifield

Addition to my story below: I was contacted by the manager of the location who offered me a gift card for my trouble. He also explained that the offer for medium latte or macchiato for 1.99 from 2-6pm is actually valid till the end of February. I hope from now on their employees would know about promos and get some kind of training on customer service. Thank you

My husband gave me a dunkin donuts gift card, so I was driving by this Merrifield location today (12/31/15) after work and noticed their big sign on the door for med latte or macchiato for 1.99 from 2-6 pm. It was 3pm so I stopped by to get that deal. I got to the register and pointed on a big poster with the deal by the register. The cashier told me that it expired, took the poster and put it on the floor by himself. I was like 'what do you mean? There is a big sign on the door, it doesn't state an expiration date!' The cashier -Asian guy - instead of dealing with the upset customer - myself - ran to the door and... RIPPED THE SIGN OFF THE DOOR!!!! Really? Well, there also was a stack of flyers with the SAME deal on the counter, I took one trying to see if there were any details. It did not have an expiration date. I showed it to the cashier, he tried to grab it saying that it was expired. I didn't let it go so he scan it saying 'see! See! It expired!' There was no barcode on the flyer to scan! Then he digged some piece of paper out of the trash behind the register and tried to point on something! I was so tired of that circus and asked for the manager, who, of course, was not there. Well, first of all it is false advertising. Secondly, that particular employee needs more training on customer service. And last, did a cup of coffee worth...

Every time I go to this location they always mess up my order and/or are extremely rude. I’m very quiet and non confrontational when ordering so haven’t ever said anything in person but it’s getting ridiculous. Three times they’ve made the completely wrong drink for me and got mad when I said something.. I don’t even say anything when they use the wrong milk or there are smaller things wrong but totally wrong drink.. another time I asked for an everything bagel and they kept repeating “we only have one” and I kept saying “I only want one, can I have it?” Their response: “we only have one”. Me: “can I have that one?” Them: repeats the same thing but yelling. It’s just a fever dream every time you go, something ridiculous always happens. Today I ordered two drinks and they made one and then looked at me weirdly as I waited… then asked what I needed and they forgot the other drink and rolled their eyes when I asked. Not a big deal but why always the attitude. Basing off the other reviews maybe management is so bad their workers and very unhappy and it spills over into customer...

If I could give negative stars, I would. This is the worst Dunkin in the US. The workers are extremely rude and lazy. They almost never have what you order and claim they can’t refund you. They laugh about the mistakes they make and act like it’s a joke when your order was wrong. They can barely even understand what you’re saying unless they are just acting like it to continue to not do any work. Several times I have shown up to see them in the corner laughing and looking at me when I’m waiting for someone to clarify why my order is wrong or missing something. The manager is somehow never available. The only reason I have continued to go here is because it is within walking distance, but it’s not worth it any more. The amount of money I have wasted by ordering and them not having anything to give me when I show up could start a new Dunkin franchise. This place is the...
