I’ve been waiting for this place to open for a while and I’m so happy to be able to give it 5 stars. I didn’t even order the bibimbap I was planning on ordering cause they had a sushirito. Lol It’s a sushi roll the size of a burito. Not chipolte sized but if you took 3 normal sushi rolls and put them together... that size. I got raw tuna and raw salmon with fish roe seaweed, bean sprouts, avocado, and pickled radish for a little over $11. I’ve had sushi rolls in the area for $16 that were maybe a bit more pretty, but nowhere near as filling. Finally, I finished it off with the cucumber wasabi sauce, which was surprisingly not super heavy on the mayo, and was a lighter sauce with a slight cucumber taste, but a big wasabi kick, which I LOVED! Everyone was really nice as well, and I love the complementing interior. It shows that a lot of thought was put into this new spot. Glad they moved in as it will be a normal stop for me coming home to the Mosaic after a run on the W&OD right up the road.
Cont: I have now been here a half a dozen times and tried most of the menu. Seriously love these guys. I love the poke bowl, which is close to bibmbap but has raw vs cooked ingredients as protien choices and gets little fish eggs vs a cooked egg. I also arrived right at close expecting to get less options but to my surprise they were still refilling items on the line and were fully stocked on all choices. These guys know how to run...
Read moreWe stopped by after orange theory to grab a quick bite. The service is good, the staff are all pretty nice, but the food...we would not go back. For basically $12 a person you expect more food and more quality. Also, be prepared to wait almost 10min longer for a ramen order if someone you're with orders poke or another cold meal choice. The poke bowl is smaller portion than Lei'd, and the fish pieces are teeny tiny! They also really oddly push you to certain ingredients. The man asked twice if we wanted kimchi in the bowl after we said no, we finally just conceded. The ramen was just a disaster. I understand this is fast casual food, but if you're going to charge the same price as a full service ramen restaurant, it should taste fairly legitimate. The ramen noodles tasted instant and the broth had no depth. Worst part was the pork - 80% of which was just soggy fat and pork skin. Literally looks like the cheap trimmings were used. Lastly, everything is served in plastic bowls, so the ramen chilled fairly quickly considering the restaurant didn't feel like it had the heat on. Also, consider having light music in the background, the deafening silence is...
Read moreMany have waited with great anticipation for the grand opening of this place. The inside is all clean and new. When you walk in, there is a huge spread of meats, veggies, sauces, and more. This restaurant is setup like Subway, where you choose your meal: I love bibimbap so that's what I ordered for my first visit.
After choosing the type of meal you want, you choose your meat(s), vegetable(s), and any other toppings before getting to choose the sauces you want. They also provide extra sauces if you want. I would say the pricing is a fair deal for what you get. For $13 I got a deep bowl with generous portions of the meats and toppings. Nothing else included but the meal was very filling and tasted great. All of the bowl was bursting with flavor and such a treat.
Also, one side note tip about the teas... They're delicious!! All of them are homemade and brewed so they taste extremely fresh and unique. Ask to sample them and see for yourself.
This place is already another one of my favorite go-to restaurants to grab a quick bite for a delicious dinner. Try this place and enjoy a fresh and flavorful meal!...
