The Center Grill — Restaurant in Merrill

We were in town to cater a wedding and had an amazing time two nights in a row!

Mary and Kevin did not disappoint in the kitchen! The food hit the spot and cooked to perfection. We went two nights in a row close to the end of food service due to our catering commitment and our servers, Hailey and Cole, took us in without complaint. Having been in the industry for many years, this is most server's pet peeve!

On the second night we met Tyler, the Assistant GM, who introduced us to a new vodka. Dawn was churning out old fashioneds for us that were off the chain! The one featuring Shanky's Whip was my favorite. Sue was by definition, all the best parts of midwest hospitality and we can't forget our good buddy Landon.

Cannot say enough good things about this place. The menu is a surprise from what you would expect from a bowling alley. Borderline gourmet! I've been here twice and tried something different each time. Both meals were delicious. What's even cool is the chef/ cook comes out and speaks with you and checks that your food was good. Fantastic, unassuming restaurant! My husband and I stopped in for late lunch and everything we ate (cheese curds, Caesar salad with crispy chicken, chicken sandwich) was excellent. We were a little surprised to realize the restaurant was in the bowling alley but soon learned it didn't affect the food quality at all. The manager was there at the same time and was incredibly generous and also let us try a Nashville hot chicken sandwich he was working on.
