Dairy Queen Store — Restaurant in Merrill

Spent $30 on blizzards. Asked for an ice water and the manager visibly winced and scowled at the young lady serving us for giving me a medium cup even though I asked for a large ice water. The manager stormed over, snatched the medium cup and slammed down a small cup on the counter. It was actually kind of humorous but I honestly felt bad for the employee who took our order. Poor girl. Anyway the blizzards were delicious, and the service from the young lady was excellent, but the manager could have been more diplomatic and polite about the whole thing. I understand businesses needed to make a profit so an easy solution would to charge 50 cents for a cup of ice. But please don’t scowl at a paying customer for asking for an ice water on a 90 degree day....

I will keep coming back because the food is obviously great but every single worker there needs to get trained on how to treat others. No "Hi there" or "Thank you, Have a great day" and they try walking away when you're still trying to order food. They look at you like you are stupid.
