We had mixed experiences at this restaurant. The food tasted great, and the service was attentive. However, portion sizes were surprisingly small considering the prices.

The $41 grilled meat dish was particularly disappointing, with an overwhelming amount of fries but minimal meat. My husband was still hungry after finishing it.

The eggplant appetizer's delicious sauce wasn't enough to justify its high price, given the tiny serving size (only 3-4 slices of eggplant).

Due to the insufficient portions, my husband ordered another entree, only to find the same imbalance of fries over meat. At that point, we decided to stop ordering.

While the flavors were impressive, the pricing needs to align better with serving sizes.

When our waiter presented the bill, we noticed a discrepancy between the menu price and the receipt. The total was higher, likely due to the card payment surcharge mentioned in other reviews.

To avoid confusion, I suggest the owner list prices as is and offer a cash discount instead. This would provide transparency and clarity.

Edit: Apologies, I meant to update this review sooner. What the owner says is true. After they saw us walk out, they explained the situation: They were down a few waiters, which killed their service, and offered to give us dessert on the house and 20% off (although, I could've sworn they mentioned striking the meal altogether, but I could have misheard). If someone hadn't said anything, this would've been a very easily deserved 1 star, but we decided to stay.

Overall, trying to be critical, the meal was adequate. It was rather expensive, but very authentic. If you're really in the market for Mediterranean food, this would be an easy pick. However, the location is a bit odd, and parking was a bit on the "cramped" side.

I appreciate the owners stepping up, and comping the dessert and hitting us with 20% off, but I suppose time will tell if they solve their staffing issues.
