Nice quiet park in the middle of the city, with a fairly big grass lawn and 3 slightly rundown (but still usable) sand volleyball courts. If you do come here to play volleyball, keep in mind that folks bring their dogs here as well, so make sure they don't get your ball first 😉

It was nice and quiet in the area we setup. Lake below look good, but the color put me off. That day they the red flag up (e-coli levels). I was with great people, so I gave it an extra star.

Nice place to take my 5 & 3 year old. Pretty clean but we did come across some broken glass on the beach. Usually quiet until late morning, then it can get crowded.

Nice town park, conveniently located across from Buckley's tavern and cafe. We enjoy grabbing dinner or lunch at the cafe (closes at 6pm), then eating in the park. There is now a connector to Wildcat Falls Conversation Land from Watson, which is awesome!

If you want to, you can rent the pavilion at Watson for get togethers from Merrimack Parks and Rec.

In summer there are volleyball nets with lights until 9pm. In winter there's an ice skating rink (temperatures permitting) with lights until 9pm.

Note, this park used to have access to the Sauhegan river, but that access has been removed and a fence prevents...

Great little park with quiet area to sit around or play volleyball. There are a few charcoal grills and plenty of grass. There looks like a great walking trail along the river but the town installed a fence and it's currently off limits. Looking forward to it opening as well as the...

Great place to cook out, swim and tan with family and dogs. Caution!!! Lots of broken bottles. For some reason people like to break bottles instead of taking them to the trash receptacles provided. If you bring it in take it out. Have respect and keep it clean so this little jewel...
