Honestly ate here once before and the food and service was perfect. Decided to come back for a 2nd time and was not great at all. So starting how dinner went it was me my boyfriend, sister her son which is 4 and my infant baby 2 months old. We end up ordering my boyfriend ended up getting sick before we even got the food okay cool. Me and my boyfriend along with my baby end up leaving right when we got the food we didn’t even stay and hangout after. We went to go pay and was charged a gratuity of 18% and yes I know obviously tip yes I was going to. And I’m not mad about a gratuity for paying. I’ve been a waitress I understand at least to leave our server a tip. BUT what I don’t understand is how me and my sister had a SPLIT BILL and they charged both of us a gratuity. They said we were counted as a party and when I went to go pay they said the reason we were charged gratuity was because AS A PARTY the bill was over $75 and it charges gratuity to the person who has the higher amount I said okay that’s fine. I then asked if I pay it does my sister get charged as well she stated no because it was 12$ which is 18% (10%-15% was the tip about I was thinking since I was not there that long) and I only seen the waitress a total 3 times. 1. When I got the drinks 2. When we ordered food 3. When I asked for Togo boxes. I was there a total of maybe 20 min if that. Basically a Togo order. But I went ahead paid the $12 advise my sister the waitress stated she didn’t have to pay gratuity explained what happened sister said okay sounds good. Turns out she got charged gratuity as well 18% and the waitress got a $20 tip for a three top because we had kids. My check was 54 before tax and gratuity and sister was 40 before tax and gratuity. Sorry but $20 tip was not worth it for the food and service. I could’ve (and will now) go to a restaurant that taste better with better service. Just feel like the waitress was trying to...
Read moreUm, no stars. Such a bad experience, we didnt even stay because we were afraid to eat anything incase they spit in our food. So, night started off bad with the front counter girl being more interested in flirting with her coworker than seating us. Then she proceeds to tell us the dinning section is closed, and we have to sit in the bar. (Not true we later found out as the dinning area closes at 9, and it was barely 830). Then we go to sit in the bar area, and the music was so loud we could not have a conversation. Then we moved to an area a little further away from the singer, who we were told his last song was at 845, and he sang till we left, at 9. Then, we got our food and went to dig in to our nachos, only to see a lovely long dark, slightly curly hair across the sour cream and pulled it out from inside the guacamole. So, we attempted to flag down anyone(no one seemed to be around) and the gal who finally came over actually asked if we wanted the food changed out. I am holding the freaking hair in my hand!!!!! Yes, I want it changed out!!!!! So she brings out the "new" plate, and it looked exactly like the one we had just sent back, including the dents where we had pulled out 2 chips before noticing the hair....we were afraid to eat the food incase they did anything to the food. Our waitress came back (she was missing when we found the hair) and said she heard that we found a Blonde hair. (My friend and I both have light hair). We stopped her there and let her know it wasnt blonde, it was dark. It was wound into the food, it was not ours! The service was terrible, and I will never ever go back. Seriously, you are going to ask if I want a replacement for food that had hair in it?! Never again. Oh, and they still charged us $5.46 for our two sodas that we didn't even...
Read moreI ordered the shrimp chimichanga with their white queso on top. I had a bean and cheese burrito with cheddar cheese melted on top brought out to me.....after asking them to fix it, it was fine. Delicious food. BUT, once I got the bill I realized that the queso they had poured on top of my burrito was a SIX DOLLAR UPCHARGE WITH NO WARNING. I would have passed on the cheese sauce had I known that. For our entire dinner we had shrimp chimichanga, a plate of carne asad fries, guacamole for the table, 2 sodas and 1 beer and the ACTUAL total was $64. Wow. For Mexican food that you can get just about anywhere? BUT WAIT THERES MORE! when I got handed the bill the “total” was $81. I was shocked...flipped thru the little stack of receipts and saw that it was now $81 because of gratuity that was already added onto our two person bill at 20% WITHOUT WARNING but the waitress had still put the other receipts on top and gave us a pen which seemed liked she was hoping we would also accidentally leave a tip on top of the already added tip she had put on there. So not only were we overcharged but you also MESSED UP MY INITAL ORDER and made me sit there at 25 weeks pregnant and starving watching other people eat their food and then TRIED TO SCAM ME into tipping even more at the end. Disgusting behavior. You guys are a joke. I have been going here for years and you just progressively go downhill and charge more and more for it even after they completely mess up your order, who gets an order...
