This location really melted my heart and exceeded my expectations….
The other week, Carl’s Jr. was promoting free western burgers when the Suns scored 11 three-point shots in a single game with the purchase of a beverage. The posting on the Suns Facebook page said the promo expires in June, 2022. Nothing in the ad said only valid before the next game.
We called this location a couple days after the game vs. the Lakers and asked if they would still honor the promotion. I was worried with my busy schedule that we were too late and we were all looking forward to getting our free western burgers. Luckily, they said it’s still honored. I mentioned we were closer to another location and the manager (female) on the phone said, if our nearby Carl’s Jr. gives us a hard time to correct them and mention it’s approved by management and it should still be honored…. Can you guess what happens next? Yup! They REFUSED to sell us their burgers because the Suns lost to the Jazz the following night. I don’t mean to sound like a Karen, but I brought up what the Country Club location manager said on the phone and the employee said, “that’s THEIR location.” It really broke my heart, even though I understand their reasoning.
Money is tight, but I also didn’t want to disappoint my family. So, I took a risk and drove further to this location and got our free burgers. The woman was so kind to me at the drive thru. I explained to her what happened at the other location and she apologized. She was so sympathetic and so different to how I was treated at the other location, it made me cry.
Thank you Carl’s Jr. at 2002 N. Country Club Drive, from the bottom of my heart. You brought so many smiles to our dinner table that night. I hope no one gets in trouble if they weren’t technically supposed to honor that promotion. It was more than just getting free burgers, it reminded me that there are still good people...
Read moreCashier was new and had no idea how to run our method of payment. HOWEVER she was the only reason I have any stars bc she was patient and kind the entire time. After asking if there was an available manager to help run our card, she sadly said no and apologized thT she was new. After getting out of my vehicle to help her and having angry customers behind me.....we got the payment to go through and eventually recieves our food. We had a $70 order and the only things we recieved that were correct were 2 milkshakes and 1 combo meal. We recieved 4, frozen solid, cheesecakes. We ordered 3 chicken sandwiches the same way yet they were rang in all different and one of the chicken waffle sandwich was not even recieved even though she repeated it. There were 2 sandwiches in the bag that we didng even order which should make up for the different items but we should have been given that option. There was no point to fo back around as the line had become long and after spend g $70...we were over it. Why is no supervisor available to help new hires? The girl was sweet and patient and I give her a million stars. However, I've never had an order completely botched start to finish as I...
