I like to think of myself as a reasonable person. I don't make a lot of fuss, and I've worked in retail long enough. I know mistakes happen. I went here late in the night, 11:30 PM. The parking lot is clean but small, at least compared to Whataburgers in Texas. The inside is open, but I'm in PJs, so I go through the drive-thru. The first thing I'm greeted with is the previous cars order taking up the entire middle screen. I wait for it to go away and order a Green Chile Burger meal, large, with an apple pie and a side of Jalapeno Ranch (I've haven't eaten much for the day, don't judge me). They're out of large cups for some reason, so I get a medium coke, large fry. It takes about 4 minutes to get to the window, which is pretty fast for whataburger. They take my card, give me my food, and say,'Just waiting on the coke' to which another employee pours a medium coke. The first employee just walks away. After waving a few times to no avail, and getting cursed out and flipped off by the angry boomer in the Silverado behind me. I finally got the attention of an employee who explained to me that the syrup was out and the other employee went to change it. Okay, that makes sense, right? At this point, I've been at the window for 12 minutes. They come back and pour a new coke and give it to me. I drive home. The coke was just fizzy water with a brown tint. So they didn't change it in the 12 minutes I waited. The burger was fine. It's an average burger. The fries were soggy and undercooked, not crispy. And the apple pie was undercooked and doughy. And I didn't even get my Jalapeño Ranch that I paid 40 cents for. Being a former resident of Texas, whataburger lost my business a while ago, and this visit they didn't earn it back. Plus, why is there another burger place here??? This street corner has a Carls Jr on one corner, a Jack in the Box on the other, a McDonald's on another corner, and on the same corner as Whataburger, there was already a Rally's??? Why didn't we get a Cane's or a Filibertos? Overall, it was just a very disappointing visit from a whataburger that's ultimately, at least for me, an unwanted...
Read moreDo NOT go here at night!! So... I was excited when this location opened as I live close by, and I had a pleasant first few visits! The day staff are friendly, fast and accommodating! HOWEVER my 1 star comes from the night crew... I pull up hungry after work at 11pm.. there are only 2 cars in front of me. I watch the two cars recieve their order, all the while Im SITTING at the ordering screen, saying hello..hello..for about 5-7 minutes. No one saying anything on the other end. Both cars in front of me are gone by this point, so I drive up to the window, no order taken. There was about 20 people walking around COMPLETELY IGNORING THE DRIVE THRU WINDOW. I had to wave to get someone over to my car to take my order. When I finally got someone's attention to take my order, their excuse was that they were switching to breakfast. Sorry that's no excuse to ignore the line of cars and customers in your drive thru?? The best part is a car sped off from behind me while I was speaking to the manager, I said "yup, see? people are mad!" Anyway, I had no issues during the day time, but night crew is extremely untrained and lacking in basic customer service. I have been going to Whataburger at 11pm for YEARS and I never even KNEW they had a breakfast change until now, because NO OTHER LOCATION HAS EVER MADE IT AN ISSUE. This particular location's night management and crew are completely clueless and unprofessional. They were all standing around drinking soda while they had a line of cars speeding off from being ignored.... Sad because I had such a good experience...
Read moreI hate to put a bad review for ANY Whataburger. ( Because I just love their food.) But, this location really needs to get it together. Folks, I went thru their drive up window. JUST DONT DO IT! I was told to pull up and park to await my order. Which, I did. Then, I waited about 4 or 5 minutes. Until the cars behind me in the line started honking and yelling at me to get out of their way!! At no time did any Whataburger employee even bother to poke their head outside to see what the honking and problem was about, either! I could not believe it! I drove around and parked in the parking lot, went inside to the counter to ask for my food, and was ASKED FOR MY RECEIPT, which I wasn't given by the way! So, I had to pull up the purchase on my credit card on my cellphone to prove I was even owed anything by these clowns! No apologies even after I showed them the freaking charge on my acct from them! So, as I stood there awhile longer, some lady finally brought me my bag of food I had ordered about 25 minutes prior. She just shoved it at me and said, "Here ya go." No napkins, no ketchup were in the bag. So, I stopped to grab some condiments and napkins from the little table there. ( This is the worst SMH. - proceed at your own discretion pls.) I went to pull out several napkins, and the biggest roach ever ran across my hand. I just gagged when I went to try and actually eat my burger.
