McDonald's — Restaurant in Mesa

I am very disappointed, I don’t ever write a review but this experience was horrible. I went to this location on Saturday 24th, 2024 around 8pm, I ordered a plain double cheeseburger and a plain triple. As my bf is eating his food there was a piece of hair in the sandwich…but no big deal, accidents and things happen. We go back and idk some short biggger big back lady with brownie hair is standing at the front. Looking like she has an Attitude and giving me a look straight off the back. She stands there to tell me I wouldn’t able to get another plain triple bc I didn’t bring the piece of hair that my bf found on his sandwich WHILEEE EATINGGG ITTTT. Even tho I brought the sandwich… afterrr telling her I don’t see how that is fair.. since I’m not asking for a refund and I had the sandwich in my hand… anyways. She finally said she will remake the sandwich…with her rude a**. I wait for the sandwich and when I get home and my bf is eating the sandwich we had just went to get remade. guess what he finds??? A another piece of hairrr.. And I feel like the 2nd time she did that intentionally. Will not be going to...

I waited 45 minutes for my breakfast this morning. Then when the order arrived half the order was missing, had no straws or napkins. I quit using this McDonald's before because of their poor performances, I resumed only to be disappointed again! I do not trust them to fill an order or get it to me in a reasonable amount of time. This place is barely operational, hard to get to because of the long lines at the Dutch Bros. Coffee house and the crowded EA Fitness Gym. They take your order, your money, then make you wait forever in the parking lot. Do everyone a favor ... shut down ... retrain your management and staff ... I will NOT be back, and that includes ALL McDonald's restaurants until I see "Under New Management". As far as I'm concerned, any fast-food restaurant that has reserved parking for drive-thru is signaling their incompetence to efficiently manage their drive thru service and unworthy of my patronage.

I ADORE the workers at this location! Darian is absolutely AMAZING! I also loved the girl at the second window who's name escapes me, but it was on Thanksgiving. I'm sure you can figure it out. Darian though... AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE! I had to add to my order and figured I'd have to go back through to do another mobile order to get my points through the app, but she informed me that she could take care of it for me at the window. I had no idea this was possible because no other McDonald's worker has ever offered to do this! Her customer service extends above and beyond that of any other McDonald's employee I've ever known. Not to mention above and beyond MOST PLACES CUSTOMER SERVICE, NOT JUST MCDONALD'S! So thank you Darian! You rock and I LOVE YOUR NAME! I still don't know if I believe the story behind it, and both of your parents wanting to name their child that before they met! 🤔😆 But I suppose I'll trust you! You're the greatest and thanks for everything! I will DEFINITELY be back to this location...
