Pour Wine & Taproom — Restaurant in Mesa

We met up with another couple on a Friday night, and it was pretty busy, but we were able to secure a table in the back within minutes. It was not obnoxiously loud, and the vibes were pretty laid back. The selection was amazing and available to see on your phone with pictures and reviews for those with selection anxiety. Stating that, I got the same thing thrice. I'm not much of a drinker, but I've been on the lookout of a smoothie beer I've had many years ago. To my luck, they had something even better than what I was looking for and then some. Oh, the Bavarian pretzel with the beer cheese it top-tier coming from a pretzel connoisseur. It was so good that it disappeared within seconds after it cooled down to finger touching temperatures. We had to order another and the table was in aggrement.

The staff were fantastic and were there knowledgeable on their stock. Shoutout to Josh in particular, he took great care of us! They offered plenty of recommendations going off of basic keywords. We highly recommend it and will definitely be back for happy hour and more get togethers...

This business is very petty and the owner is very insecure. A former patron there, who now works for my company, told me her experience there, and I was beyond mortified. She would buy beers from them, and support them constantly. But one day she left a very positive review for them (stating that X bartender was amazing, and how she loved the place, but also it would be nice if they introduced some east coast beers to the menu). The next day she comes in to support the business, and is told by a very young employee, that she cannot be there anymore, and can't buy beer from them anymore either...(???) To find out why...because the alcoholic owner was offended by her request to have east coast beers. Do not support people like this...Very odd behavior and I thought other patrons and employees should know about this guy Kreg (the owner). Didn't even have the decency to tell this lady himself of why she was 86'd. Do not...

I was looking for a nice place to meet a friend and decided to give this place a try. Love the atmosphere, staff was friendly and the selection of wines very nice. My only complain, menu has not been updated to show what they are really serving, I order a plate with cheeses and charcuterie that was brought on a plastic small plate which didn't looked nice at all. Looked like all just thrown in the plate. For the price I would have expected at least a nicer presentation on a real plate or cutting board as the pictures in their website are showing. Had to even asked for a knife to serve some of the items in the plate. Person who brought knife was very apologetic and that's okay, things can happen but, the presentation says a lot and in this case it felt short. Btw, my friend had a soda that she needed to pick up herself and no glass with ice was brought to her....
