This spot is absolutely amazing. My partner and I have been going out of our way to try every taco joint in the area since we just moved in this year and we're too far from our old favorite taco restaurant in Awahtukee. This was one of the last restaurants we had left to try since the hours are tricky with our work schedule. Easily the best tacos in the Mesa/Gilbert/Tempe area by far and worth the wait. Every type of meat was fantastic so I honestly don't think you can go wrong here. Best lengua I've had in a looooong time, this will easily turn you onto lengua if you've never had it before. My partner and I will be coming here every weekend and I almost went back to get more 🤣
The ladies working up front were super nice too, made sure we knew what was good, gave us great recommendations and were so friendly. The food, the service and the location are FIRE! We'll be very...
Read moreI have been in here at least 5 times since they first opened. The 1st 2 times I came the food was OUTSTANDING. Fresh, light, delicious flavors-- which is why I always return. HOWEVER, the last 3 times I have come the food was not as good. And they forgot important elements in the dish. For example, they forgot the avocado on my shrimp tacos, and they left out the side of Gauc in my to-go order, and another time I order the guac it was totally different-- it was full of jalapenos and it was gross I couldn't eat it. Please, whoever is in charge there-- please make your recipes consistent. I notice when I order close to closing, like around 7:30, the food is NOT good, and my order is "rushed" by your staff and elements are missing. Hello manager- I hope you are reading this. I want to give you all another chance but this is 3 times in a row-- I just don't...
Read moreCame in on 6/29/18 around 11:30AM, right before the lunch rush. It was clean and neat. I got a carne asada burrito with cheese and no onion or cilantro with a small horchata. The horchata was good, sweet, and refreshing. The meat to the burrito tasted really good and authentic. The beans weren't bad either and the cheese was melted instead of being a blob of cheese like most restaurants which is always good. Only wrong thing is that the burrito started to fall apart almost halfway done because the juices and oils from the meat. I had to eat the rest with a fork because the tortilla couldnt hold it. If it wasnt for that then I'd give 5 stars. However, this establishment is awesome and authentic as it can get as far as fast food mexican restaurants go. I will definitely come back, but I think I will stick with the soft street tacos when...
