BURGER POP MESQUITE — Restaurant in Mesquite

If I could give thisnmesquite location zero stars I would. The manager Von is ridiculous. I placed an order through Uber and the delivery guy brought the food super late and it was cold. I drove it to the restaurant and asked if they could remake it and they had to call and get permission from this clown of a manager . I spoke with him on the phone and asked if there was a way they could remake it fresh since it was cold and he said no and I needed to take this up with Uber . Uber informed me that I could take it to the restaurant and have this remade since they issued a partial refund. This “manager “ had the audacity to tell me “ What would you like me to do with the food you brought back , resell it?” In a comical manner. This wasn’t funny to me one bit. I told him I wanted them to remake it fresh if they could since I brought the food back , ALL OF IT. I’m sure he or the owner that I am sure he is related to , if it’s not him , will attempt to get under the post and clean up his ridiculous behavior and comments and try to make me look like a liar but I honestly could care less what he says, what’s done is done and what he said can’t be taken back. The very least he could have done was remake the food and take the cold food to save face . I will NEVER visit this store again nor recommend this place to anyone, customer service just isn’t where it should be these days . After I purchased the food again, (because my family wanted burger pop) he had the nerve to call his staff members and tell them to tell me to take the old food back. It’s fine if you didn’t want to remake the food, but all the extra sarcastic comments were unnecessary and truly make you more upset than you were. He has to be one of the worse “managers “ I’ve come across, but what goes up must come down. I don’t care for any response , because that clown will continue to be just as he is and nothing...

Don’t take me wrong, the food it’s great, but there’s little details that doesn’t make me happy: Example , I ask the staff to toast my bread because I believe it holds better the burger, WELL: they charge 56 cents!!!!’n I can’t believe they are charging for this, what’s wrong??? I post this so I can make sure the owner explains that to me, I like the food, I like the owner, but little things like this it’s getting me out of the door not being and maybe I’ll just take my business elsewhere. This could not be happening. I apologize to the employees , but when they told me I had to pay I was not as friendly as I’m always to them. I’ll keep you posted.

Okay, I was here when they opened, and I was there with its second owner. Now I’m back and this will be the third owner. I spoke to him while waiting my order and I got the Big Pop. There’s an excellent quality food back to their kitchen. I’m glad, because that means that I’ll be back, good quality of meet, fresh bread, good fresh vegetables, and size! I order the big Fries and believe me they are enough for two people, and of course if you don’t like to share like me I will order a second one! Food is not greasy anymore, so I hope the quality and consistency of product keeps the same or change for a better! (Doesn’t need to change it EXCELLENT) Congrats to the new owner because your food deliver its promise! Highly recommend this place again! Eat local no big chain, make them stay open and let people know that the best burgers in mesquite are back and they are at Burger Pop...

Updated review after 3 years: Went back to try out this place again. Ordered BONE IN lemon pepper wings. Get my order and go to my car and look in the box and low and behold they are boneless wings which are just chicken nuggets. 10$ for chicken nuggets. They are on the small side for chicken nuggets. Went back in and asked about order and they said they didn't have bone in wings any more. Why didn't the girl at the counter tell me when I ordered Bone in wings that they didn't have them. Last time in ever going back to this place.

Food is good when they actually open. They are supposed to be open from 11am to 9pm. While I was waiting on them to open and here it is past 11, I saw about 10 people go up to the door and leave.
