Golden Chick — Restaurant in Mesquite

We absolutely love this location. The manager (Mrs. T) is awesome! She makes sure that this store is kept clean and that the customers are being well taken care of! Our orders were taken quickly, we were served quickly and both the temperature and the food quality were perfect...sooo thankful for this new location! UPDATE: I need to revise my review. Although our first visit was awesome, the last two visits have been EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING. I am not sure what happened to Mrs. T but a different manager was there the last two times. The service is now equivalent to the one on Davis...and that is NOT a good thing. I am not sure if all of this is due to the staff shortages but, they consistently get orders wrong. It takes forever for them to prepare your order (both inside and drive-thru...a couple of customers pulled out of the drive-thru line and just left). On my visit today, I got chicken salad and the container was only about 2/3 full. On my prior visit, I bought two side salads and they were only half full (and the lettuce was going bad). I really do love their food and their menu (wide variety of side items). However, sadly I will probably not be returning...I just do not have that kind of time (from the time that I pulled up and placed my order to the time that I received my order was over half an hour) or patience. Very disappointed once again. I hardly go to Golden Chicken any more because of previous bad experiences. I decided to give this one a try because it’s fairly new. I was in a rush so I purposely checked to see how many cars were in the drive thru. Only one car in the drive thru ordering, perfect so I thought. Sweet tea wasn’t sweet so the nice guy made me two more drinks. Still waiting and He says were are waiting on tenders🙄. Get home down the street and I have chicken bites not strips! I understand some strips maybe small or break but a least give an extra one when you notice they are small since you are still charging the same price. Also They were not hot and I thought I was waiting for fresh tenders. 🤷🏽‍♀️ I was in a rush so I didn’t even check the orders before I left like I would normally do. So I was basically late coming back from lunch after spending almost $20 for 2 kids meals pretty much. Really disappointing. Okay, there’s people there that they thrive to serve, friendly and very respectful and courteous, but when it comes to others it’s where everything goes to hell. Just two days ago I ordered a Big and Golden sandwich to go, the chicken was hard to eat and the bun was like from 6 days ago because it was so hard to the touch, I call and they replace my meal. Yesterday I stop and ordered the same thing, and by the time I got home grease was falling from the box and for buns they smashed two rolls and put the chicken between!!! Like if I was not going to noticed??? I get it some people work hopping to get a better life, some for the money and some companies just open places hopping for people to don’t complain and keep making money but this place it’s not worth a penny when it comes to the quality or standards of the original company. I’ll keep tryin and I’ll keep riding until they change or call me to apologize for me loosing my time and money , this location it’s perfect but maybe I’ll try other one on...
