Tubby's Sub Shop — Restaurant in Metamora Township

Had great experiences with this place for a long time. Then they mess my order up on a delivery. I call for a replacement because of the mess up. Then I get told "we dont know who messed up, and the girl had multiple orders going" I explained how is this my fault? Wanted a large mozzarella stick and 8 inch SUb. They sent small mozzarella and large sub normally ok but i explained those were for someone else so I needed them. I then offered to pay for them and Re tip the driver even though it's not my fault and I was told by the lady "I dont think we will drive all the way back over there for a small mozzarella stick" (I live 3 miles from store) then a man gets on the phone and tells ms he's not doing it either bc I didn't pay for them. Then I explain further and ask if this is a joke?, and that you fix your mistake. Then he says to me "what's wrong with me" and hangs up. I call back to find out this is the owner of the place and he clearly has no care for his customers. I order from this place multiple times a week and I explained that he was going to lose my business. He Doesn't care!

Well good Ray or whatever your name is. I hope you go out of business with an attitude like that I won't be back again! Please learn...

I needed to place a catering order for a group that was helping us clean up from a barn fire. Didn't want to do pizza and don't care for the other chain of sub sandwiches. Was very pleased to see such good reviews from this Tubby's. There were two small glitches with my order but Meg was very concerned that they make things right with me, which they did. I was quite pleased with the service; it was a fairly large order & I appreciated it being carried out to my car for me. I especially liked how they separated my two platters with one being all "famous" subs and the other split between turkey and ham. That, along with the color-coded toothpicks - which were clearly noted - made it very easy for everyone to get what they wanted. We will be trying them again sometime. We went to Tubby’s tonight and was very disappointed in the sub. Both my husband and I got the chicken bacon club and I don’t know what kind of meat was actually in the sub. It wasn’t the chicken I’ve always gotten. It was a mystery meat and the tiniest piece of bacon.
