Ye’s Table — Restaurant in Methuen

I'm going to start off by saying the restaurant looks amazing. The decor is great. Unfortunately that's one of the only nice things I can say right now. Although the server was very nice, it was only his second day he told us and they had him on his own. I understand if you're new to being a server it does take time to learn but why put the poor guy on his own?! Especially on a busy night. It took about 15-20 minutes to get our order taken. He was not familiar with anything on the drink menu (including wine). We got our drinks AFTER we got our food. 😖 The food was delicious. Same quality as you would find at their sister restaurant down the road, Fusion House. The presentation of the food was definitely better here though. Unfortunately we didn't get everything we ordered because he also forgot to put in one of our dishes. We decided to pass on it and just get the check. I really wanted to give this place a good review because my family loves their other restaurant Fusion House down the road. I won't be going back here for awhile though. We'll be sticking to Fusion House for awhile. Hopefully by then I can give this...

I’d rate lower if I could. Walked in and they ignored my mom’s request for a table close to the door because I use a cane. Then the waitress was beyond numb. Couldn’t answer any questions, had to repeat the order multiple times because she was ignoring me being a vegetarian.

The food was awful! How do you mess up fried rice and scallion pancakes? The rice was both burned and dry. Scallion pancakes had 0 flavor just fried dough.

Manager came over and still tried to charge us for uneaten and inedible food. Said we were rude from when we entered. Sir, that is impossible considering the hostess did not walk with us and we had 0 contact with the staff until our rude waitress arrived. Kindness is free. Respect is earned.

Manager is best suited to manage something far less complicated.

I enjoyed the atmosphere of the restaurant and the waiters and waitresses were absolutely amazing and friendly. My main issue was the food. I ordered “ramen” and I was absolutely APPALLED by it. The broth was completely flavorless and the meat was hard and difficult to chew. The meat tasted like rubber. The egg was a weird fried egg sort of thing with a styrofoam consistency. This was genuinely the worst ramen i’ve ever had. I’ve been to countless ramen restaurants all over and nothing was as bad as this. Anyone who’s had real AUTHENTIC ramen would agree that the “ramen” they served was literally horrible. I didn’t even finish the bowl. No restaurant should be charging $20 for that bowl of ramen.
