I consult their service guys, because we are going to celebrate a 70 years old gentleman’s birthday, this birthday boy is from Australia. What I asked is to order a custom made “Gluten Free” Cake, they reply me to order online , then will memo everything I need later on. I paid already and also made several options such as money-pulling cake…..etc
Then I found the order confirmation noted the wrong pickup date, I told them, they corrected after. I asked them to make sure that this cake is gluten free 2 days before birthday, they told me sorry that this is not gluten free, I asked them have to be gluten free and send them the screenshot of our conversation!
No further reply until next day , they said they cancelled the order and give full refund! As there are three parts of payment, one is the cake $ 458.9 SGD. the other part is 250SGD and 10SGD. They refund 458.9 and 250. But forgot 10SGD. It is not about money, it is an altitude and company’s culture, sorry cannot solve problem. This is only one time 70th years big birthday ceremony. Refund money is not what a cake making company’s policy , solve problem is!
They should seek for help from other bakery! Not just cancel ! It is someone’s important day, not just sorry and refund money!

As for the service, there is a need to enhance communication with customers when they are paying or even the rude facial expressions. If the one providing the service is confused it’s not to reflect on the “paying customer” Establishing a sign or asking card or cash. Would be an exceptional improvement. I understand that everyone doesn’t comprehend english to the entirety but when owning and running a business, learning an intricate amount of words goes a long ways to providing exceptional-service. I too want the amount of what I am paying to match what is being calculated on the separate machine that is charging a debit or credit card. Read moreOn Saturday I went to O'rice next door and ordered my special Fried Rice that is excellent!! Then I went into Bob the Baker and asked for a sample of the Cod Fish Stew. I was very impressed at the first taste and whoever made this Basque Spanish recipe, is a master cook in my opinion. With every single bite, it was like heaven's kitchen on earth. Very delicious and perfectly seasoned in each and every way. I also ordered the cream cheese pastries. When I got home, they were guava and cream cheese. I was not real impressed with the looks, but after 12 seconds in the microwave, from the first bite, another heaven and earth experience.
