I recently tried Pollo Campero and overall, the food was pretty good—definitely not your average fast food. The chicken had interesting, bold flavors that stood out from the typical fried chicken spots, and the sides had a nice Latin twist that gave the meal a little extra character. That said, while the flavors were solid, it didn’t quite measure up to some other places I’ve tried in terms of overall satisfaction. The quality was decent, but not enough to justify the outrageous prices. I get that times are tough and they’re likely trying to cover overhead or save the lease, but charging that much really pushes it into “special occasion” territory—not your go-to meal stop. If you’re curious and don’t mind spending a bit more, it’s worth a try. But for regular visits, there are other spots offering just as much flavor for a better price.

What a disappointment, I waited 44 minutes for my food with my family, and while I was waiting I went and asked the cashier and he replied "they are already preparing it, we were waiting for the chicken", I knew it was a LIE since exactly what I ordered was two more tables that arrived after me who had made the same order and had brought it to them and 20 minutes later I stand up and ask for my refund and what they offer me is 4 more pieces of chicken and I told them no, that it was a waste of 44 minutes for a fast food meal, apart from all that the character of the guy at the cash register was very bad by the way, the others were attentive but the guy at the cash register and the manager who didn't even apologize, I still like the chicken and I will continue buying but I'd rather order it to the house

After seeing huge lines outside, I wanted to try this out waited online for about 30 minutes all to have very disappointing food. I should’ve just went to Pollo tropical or McDonald’s next-door. I threw out the chicken because it wasn’t edible. Still was raw in the middle and very gooey texture on all three pieces like if it wasn’t cooked thoroughly, with a side of uncle Ben’s rice and Walmart canned black beans. Highly disappointed spent $27 and really wish I could get a refund ended up throwing all the food away, I will not be returning. The only thing that was decent was Horchata and it was still like a powder mix. I mean how can you mess up grilled chicken?

I was excited about this place once I've seen the billboard on the i-95 south ramp. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a disappointment. I pre-ordered on the app 45 min before arrival. I was hoping to pickup my meal right away but it was not ready. I walked up to the counter to inquire about my order and the waitress nodded her head. She didn't look at any receipt or ask anyone else. It's a out 10 min later that I realized she did not speak any ENGLISH. I'm still waiting she didn't address me and assisted other customers that spoke Spanish. Why would you have someone doing mobile pickups not speak any English? Its only when a supervisor from the kitchen line looked back and asked what am I waiting on. That is when my meal was getting prepared so it seems (ordering mobile on the app is a waste of time). Another 9 min passed by and I went back to the front to ask another server how long? Same treatment doesn't understand and word of English. My brother spoke some Spanish to the server and that's when we got replies and responses. It was infuriating not being able to communicate my frustration and I know I won't be the only one who has gone through this. But The only dish I can recommend is the...
